DME Gujarat Begins Online Registrations for NEET MDS Stray Round, Releases Seat Vacant Position

As per the advertisement, DME Gujarat is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for admission into the MDS course in Gujarat Self-Financed Dental Colleges for the academic year 2024-25. Therefore, candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 are eligible as per the council and admission rules of the Gujarat state.

Those qualified and eligible candidates can apply as per the following schedule-

For online registration, the PIN can be purchased from the official website of DME Gujarat for Rs.28,000/-. Of which Rs 25,000/- is a refundable security deposit and the remaining Rs 3000/- is a non-refundable amount.

For the Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents at the Help Center, candidates need to take a prior appointment. The candidate, themselves, can select the Date, time and Help Center of their choice for Document Verification at the time of printing the Registration Slip. Below are the list of documents to be submitted by the candidates-

LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION PROCESS OF ACPPGMEC

1 All years BDS attempt-wise Marksheets.

2 Copy of NEET-PG(MDS) Marksheet of current academic year.

3 Internship completion certificate on or before Dt. 30/06/2024.

4 Provisional Registration of State Dental Council / Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of Dental Council / Dental Council of India (In case of old pass-out candidates).

5 Documents showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate--compulsory for all candidates & Birth Certificate/ Passport--If birthplace not mentioned in School leaving certificate/Transfer Certificate)

6 For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only.

7 For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after Dt.01/04/2022.

8 For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only dated on or after Dt.01/04/2022.

9 For PwD Candidates: Disability Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

10 Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign.

11 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done BDS outside Gujarat).

12 Domicile certificate of Gujarat state: For candidates who have done BDS outside Gujarat (only if their birthplace is outside Gujarat).

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

Below are the steps to be followed for the online registration-

STEP 1- For online form, registration candidate has to click “Medical, Dental, CPS diploma” under “Post Graduate Admission”.

STEP 2- Click the “Log-in for Post-Graduate Medical Admission” button.

STEP 3- Click on “Purchase PIN” to purchase an online PIN.

STEP 4- Click on “Candidate Registration/Login” to start the registration process.

STEP 5- To register as a new candidate, click the “Click here for New Registration” button. By doing so, a New Registration window will be displayed on the computer screen.

STEP 6- Enter ‘Serial number of PIN’, ’14-digit PIN’, ‘E-mail Address’, ‘Mobile No.’, ‘Roll No. (NEET Roll No.’) and ‘Captcha Image’ in the appropriate box. Verify the details entered and if every detail entered is correct then click the “SUBMIT” button. Then, the “Online Registration Form” window will be displayed on the computer screen.

STEP 7- The candidate has to fill up personal details in the format as displayed in the “Online Registration Form”. Candidate’s ‘Serial number of PIN’ will appear as LOGIN/USER ID. After that, the candidate has to enter a password by using at least 6 (six) and a maximum of 12 alphanumeric characters. Re-enter the same password in the space marked as “Confirm Password”. For future login, the candidate has to use the same Login ID, PIN and password only. So, the candidate has to remember the password for subsequent login.

STEP 8- Please do not share the password and purchased PIN with anyone. The candidates are advised to store their ID, Password and PIN number at multiple places.

STEP 9- Verify the entries made and if every detail found is correct then choose the “I Agree” option at the bottom of the form, if the declaration is acceptable.

STEP 10- Click on “Save Changes”.

STEP 11- By doing so, “Registration Details” will be generated. If any corrections are required, then click the “EDIT/CONFIRM APPLICATION” button. The “Online Registration Form” will appear with already filled details which can be edited by the candidate if needed.

STEP 12- Now After registration candidate has to upload documents as per registration details.

STEP 13- The candidate then has to submit “Registration Details” and all relevant original documents & self-attested photocopies at the appointed Help Center, compulsorily.

STEP 14- The candidate will be able to take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Re-Print Registration Slip”. OR The candidate will be able to take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Registration Details” under the “REGISTRATION DETAILS” button. The candidate can click the “Print Your Details” button to print the “Registration Details” page.

STEP 15- For the confirmation of registration at the Help Center, all candidates have to take print of the “Registration Details” (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents should be attached to the Registration Details. Both the candidate as well as parent/guardian of the candidate have to compulsorily sign the Registration Details at the space provided. In case of candidates of SC, SEBC, ST, EWS and PwD category, the candidates have to submit 02 copies of the caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate and school leaving certificate/transfer certificate of each.

STEP 16- The officer at the Help Center will verify the Registration Details and self-attested photocopies of relevant documents with originals. The officer will retain the Registration Slip and set of self-attested documents and issue the Registration Slip with signature and seal to the Candidate. All candidates must verify all Original Documents at the Help Center and obtain a Registration Slip, without which the candidate will not be eligible for further admission process.

All the candidates are hereby informed that all the activities of admission will be performed within the admission schedule as declared by the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC).

Meanwhile, the candidate applying for NRI Quota, document verification and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. In addition, all candidates, who are applying for the PwD quota, have to appear for an examination for disability to the Medical Board of ACPUGMEC. Only Disability Certificate issued from a Medical Board of ACPUGMEC will be considered. No other PwD certificate, issued by any other Authorities or Hospital will be entertained.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE ADMISSION IN MDS COURSE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-25

1 The candidate must have completed the BDS course from a recognised university established under any law of the Government of Gujarat and situated in the State of Gujarat.

2 The candidate must have completed the BDS course from a recognised university established under any law of Government of India situated in any State, Union territory of India or Out of India subject to fulfilling the Eligibility criteria of DCI, New Delhi/ Govt. of India and must have passed 12th qualifying examination with “B- group” or “AB-group” either from (a) Gujarat Board OR (b) from Central Board of Secondary Education/ The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination board/ The International School Board (International Baccalaureate and Cambridge)/ The National Institute of Open Schooling provided that school is located in the state of Gujarat and must be born in Gujarat state/ be the Domicile of Gujarat state.

3 The candidate must have completed a compulsory rotating internship on or before Dt. 30 June 2024.
