Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences Opens Window For Exercising Web Options For Phase 2 MQ For BDS Admission

Andhra Pradesh: Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences opened the window for exercising web options for Phase 2 of Management (CATEGORY B1, B2 & CATEGORY C (NRI)) quota seats for the academic year 2022-23 for BDS admission.

The candidates can exercise the web option till 4:00 pm today (14.12.2022) at https://ugmq.ntruhsadmissions.com. All the candidates whose names are present in the Final Merit Position of Management Quota displayed on 11.11.2022 and in the Addendum on the University Website are only eligible to exercise web options on the above schedule dates as per the seat matrix displayed in the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in.

University Fee -

The selected candidates have to download the allotment order by paying the following University fee through Payment Gateway through an online payment method. (Debit Card /Credit Card / Internet Banking/UPI) and report to the Principal of the allotted college along with the allotment order and original certificates before the date specified in the allotment order and pay the prescribed tuition fee at the college.

Tuition Fee -

As per G.O.Ms.No.146 HM & FW, (C1) Department Dt.05-11-2020, the following is the tuition fee in respect of the Category-B & C seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh per annum for 4 ½ years.

Instructions to the Candidates –

1. The joined candidates up to round 2 of AIQ or State Quota shall not be eligible to participate in the further rounds for All India Quota or State Quota from the academic year 2022-23 onwards.

2. The candidates who have joined in BDS Course under Management Quota in earlier counsellings of Dr. YSRUHS are also eligible for exercising options in this 2nd phase of counseling if they wish to slide to another college or another category. The candidates can also slide from category 'C' to category 'B.'

3. The candidate has not joined/reported in the allotted seat of Phase-I under Management Quota. That particular seat will not be available for that candidate to exercise web options in this 2nd phase of counseling.

4. The candidates who have not reported at the allotted college in the 1st phase of counseling under the Management Quota will be allowed to participate in the 2nd phase of counseling.

5. Candidates who have been allotted seats in any phase of Management Quota counseling are not eligible for Mop-up round counseling.

6. The number of seats available under Management Quota Category B1, B2 & Category C (NRI) in Private Unaided Non-Minority Dental Colleges is given in Annexure-I.

7. The allotments will be per the candidates' prioritized options.

8. A candidate has to exercise options for the interested dental colleges in the order of priority.

9. Candidates should be careful while exercising options on the web. One Time Password will be sent to the registered mobile and mail when entering and submitting web options.

10. The options, once exercised, are final. No request for a change of options or order of college priorities will be entertained after the closure of the above-said web options schedule.

11. Candidates should take the printout of the saved options.

12. Candidates must exercise options for the B category and, if eligible, for C Category (NRI) in order of priority of the colleges. Allotments will be made according to the order of preference in the web options exercised by the candidate and as per the rules.

13. Candidates will receive a message regarding the allotment of seats if the seat is allotted.

14. The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the college of admission. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be canceled, and action will be initiated as per University Regulations.

15. Selected candidates must report to the Principal of the allotted college before the last date and time for joining as specified on the allotment letter with all original certificates and relevant bonds, if any, and pay the tuition fee and college fee to complete the process of admission. The admission will be canceled automatically if the candidate fails to report before the reporting date and time.

16. If the joined candidate of Phase-I slides to another college during 2nd phase of counseling, the original certificates will be sent to the newly allotted college by the previous college after the closure of admissions. The candidate has to report at the re-allotted college with downloaded allotment order along with a custodian certificate issued by the previous college and to pay the tuition fee to complete the admission process, failing which the candidate will forfeit the admission.

17. Candidates allotted seats under the NRI Quota should produce the relevant sponsorship letter from an NRI relative in original, along with a copy of the passport/ Residence Proof/Bank Statement or passbook of the sponsor for the NRI Category at respective colleges.

18. If a candidate is allotted a seat in the BDS course as per their options and does not join the course, they will not be eligible for that course in the Mop-up phase of counseling to prevent seat blocking.

19. If any candidate wants to withdraw from the course after the closure of admissions, in the middle of the course, such candidate has to submit their request through the Principal of the college concerned along with a course discontinuation fee of Rs.100000 for BDS plus GST as applicable to the University by way of demand draft drawn in favor of the Registrar, Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada.

20. The requests received directly from the candidates for withdrawal from the BDS course will not be entertained under any circumstances. Any request shall be routed through the Principal concerned only as per the G.O.Ms.No.72, HM & FW (C1) Dept, dated.15-07-2019.

The next phase for Mop-up counseling (exercising web options) will be conducted for -

1. Unfilled seats in Phase – 1.

2. Not reported / Not joined seats after Phase-1.
