Foreign dental screening test FDST BDS 2026: NBE announces viva-voce results
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has recently released the results of the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) 2026 (BDS) Viva-Voce Examination, which was conducted on May 29, 2026.
As per the notice issued by the NBE in this regard, under the Dental Council of India Screening Test Regulations 2009 (amended up to September 2018), a candidate has to score 50% in each theory paper individually to qualify to appear in the viva-voce examination. Candidates who are qualified to appear in the viva-voce have to separately score 50% in the viva-voce examination.
Therefore, on this, NBE has released a list of candidates who were found qualified for viva-voce. The list includes result and scores FDST (BDS) 2026. A total of 11 candidates listed, of these, a total of 8 candidates have been declared "Qualified" and a total of 3 candidates have been declared "Not Qualified". The list also provides the marks obtained in the viva-voce (out of 50) by each candidate.
The result marks the completion of the FDST 2026 assessment process for the successful candidates who qualified both the theory examination and the viva-voce.
The BDS 2026 (Theory) was conducted on 1st March 2026 by NBEMS on computer-based platform at New Delhi and the result for the same was declared on 4th April 2026.
Meanwhile, the candidates seeking clarification regarding the result may contact NBEMS or submit their queries through the NBEMS Communication Web Portal available on the official website.
The preferred mode for handling the FDST related queries shall be by Communication Web Portal (CWP). The Communication may be sent to CWP of NBEMS which can be accessed through Contact Us tab on NBEMS website. Queries shall only be processed if same are sent through email ID of candidate provided by candidates in their applications submitted to DCI.
