KEA Releases NEET MDS 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Schedule, details
Karnataka- The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has started the stray round of online counselling for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024. On this, KEA has released the schedule for the stray round of online counselling for NEET MDS2024.
As per the schedule, the process of NEET MDS 2024 counselling is commencing today i.e. September 06, 2024, at 11:00 am and will end on September 14th, 2024. Below is the detailed schedule-

Additionally, KEA has also informed the PG Dental candidates that they can register, pay the fee and complete the document verification process to participate in the stray vacancy round seat allotment for the available PG Dental seats.
The PG Dental candidates who were eligible but could not register for the Stray Vacancy Round can now submit the application form, pay the fees and complete the document verification process from 06 September 2024 at 11.00 AM to 08 September 2024 – 8.00 AM to become eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round seat allotment for the available PG Dental seats along with other eligible candidates.
After submitting the application form, paying the fees, and completing the document verification process, the document verification will be conducted offline on 08 September 2024 from 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM. Meanwhile, the candidate who fails to submit the original documents will not be eligible for the seat allotment.
DEPOSITION OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS
All the eligible candidates who are holding the verification slip and did not submit the original documents to KEA should deposit the original documents on 08 September 2024 if they are interested in the Stray Vacancy round. The candidates who have deposited originals and taken back the originals can also deposit the originals to KEA if they are interested. Any candidate who fails to deposit the originals to KEA will not be eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy round.
The online stray vacancy round will be conducted only for those candidates who have not taken admission to the college after allotment of seats in the stray vacancy round of All India Counselling including 1st round or 2nd round or a mop-up round of PG Dental counselling for deemed universities and those candidates who have verification slip and have not been allotted any seat in the 1st round of State counselling.
CAUTION DEPOSIT
1 Candidates who are willing to participate in the NEET MDS 2024 Stray Vacancy Round should deposit Rs.2,00,000/- for PG Dental courses as a caution deposit to KEA. All category candidates should pay the caution deposit.
2 If any eligible candidate who has paid the Caution deposit amount but is still not allotted any seat in the mop-up round, can participate with the same caution deposit if interested.
3 Caution deposit has to be paid online by downloading the challan from the KEA website using candidate login credentials.
4 If a candidate gets the PG Dental seat as the case may be, the caution deposit will be adjusted towards the fee.
5 If a candidate gets the PG Dental seat in the stray vacancy round and fails to report to the college, a caution deposit will be forfeited and the candidate has to pay the penalty as per the rules.
6 The candidate who fails to deposit the caution deposit will not be eligible to participate in the mop-up round.
OPTION ENTRY
1 All the eligible candidates who deposit the caution deposit and submit the original documents will be allowed to enter the options afresh.
2 All the eligible candidates have to enter the new options for this PG Dental Stray Vacancy round. The options entered by them in the previous rounds will not be considered.
