KNRUHS Begins Web-Options Process for Mop-Up round Of BDS admissions Under Competent Authority Quota
Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has begun the process of exercising web options for the mop-up phase of the BDS counseling process in Government Private Dental Colleges, including Army Dental College under competent authority quota.
All the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the Provisional final merit list on the KNRUHS website can exercise web options for admission into the BDS course up to 06.00 P.M. on 29.09.2023
Candidates whose names are notified in the provisional final merit list of MBBS/BDS Admissions on the KNRUHS website are eligible to exercise web - options online from a computer with an internet connection subject to the following conditions –
1. The candidates who were allotted BDS seats in the previous phase of counseling and have not reported/discontinued the course at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.
2. Candidates who have not exercised web options in the first phase of counseling are not eligible to exercise web options.
3. The candidates who were allotted BDS seats in the first phase of counseling and joined the course and continuing in the course are eligible to exercise web options and are informed to exercise web options.
4. Candidates who have joined the MBBS course under KNRUHS, YSRUHS, and AIQ are not eligible to exercise web options.
5. Candidates are not permitted to withdraw/discontinue from the course after allotment in the mop-up phase of counseling.
There is no limit to the number of options. Candidates can exercise web options for any number of colleges they are interested in joining as per their eligibility. Candidates must exercise web options for BDS seats in all colleges in which they are interested in joining, irrespective of available vacant seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during the counseling process due to the sliding of candidates from allotted seats in previous phases of counseling to other seats as per their web options in the Mop-up phase of counseling.
A one-time password will be sent to the registered mobile number at the time of exercising web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z. Candidates must take a printout of saved options. Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after the allotment of a seat if allotted. Candidates are also informed to log in to check their allotment status through https://tsbdsadm.tsche.in/. Website after each phase of counseling.
The allotment of seats will be made in accordance with the selection procedure notified in Government orders G.O.Ms.No. 114 HM&FW(C1) Dept. Dated:05-07-2017, subsequent amendments, G.O. Ms. No. 125, Health, Dental and Family Welfare (C1) Department Dated: 22.09.2022, G.O. Ms. No. 72, Health, Dental and Family Welfare (C1) Department Dated: 03-07-2023, G.O. Ms. No. 75, Health, Dental and Family Welfare (C1) Department Dated: 04-07-2023 and relevant Hon'ble High Court/Supreme court orders and University regulations.
If a seat is allotted in this phase of counseling as per web options exercised by the candidate in this phase of counseling, the seat allotted in previous phases of counseling will be automatically canceled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore, the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully for sliding with awareness of this fact.
The selected candidates shall download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by gateway method by using the online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment and report to the Principal of their respective college on or before the date specified on the allotment letter.
Selected candidates have to report to the Principal of the respective college before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates and relevant bonds, and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfill the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date for joining, the admission will be canceled automatically.
The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college, and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be canceled, and action may be initiated as per University regulations.
If the candidate slides to another college during the mop-up phase of counseling in colleges affiliated with KNRUHS, the original certificates will be sent to the college concerned after the closure of admissions. Candidates have to get relieved from the previous phase, joined college, obtain a custodian certificate, collect fees, and report to the allotted college before the last date of joining. Admitted candidates are not permitted to withdraw from the course after the mop-up phase of counseling.
Admitted candidates will have to pay a discontinuation penalty amount of Rs.20 lakhs as per Government Orders if they discontinue the course after the mop-up phase of counseling to get their original certificates back. Candidates also will be debarred for 3 years for BDS admission under KNRUHS to prevent seat blocking.
University fee –
Allotted candidates have to pay a University fee of Rs. 12000/- for the BDS Course through a payment Gateway by using an Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) and download the allotment letter. Candidates who have paid University fees in the previous phases need not pay again.
Tuition fee –
1. Government Dental Colleges - 10000/- per year
2. Private Dental Colleges - 45000/- per year
