KNRUHS issues notice for BDS, MDS 1st, final year exams 2020

Hyderabad: Through recent notifications, Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has notified about the procedure for BDS and MDS First and final year examinations 2020.

BDS final year Regular Examinations - October 2020

KNRUHS – Exams – Conduct of BDS Final year examinations in the month of October 2020

Eligibility to appear for BDS Final year Examinations

1. The BDS Final year students who have been admitted during the academic year 2016-17 into the Dental colleges affiliated to KNRUHS in Telangana State, whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS are eligible to appear BDS Final year examinations in the month of October,2020.

2. The BDS Final year students who are having minimum 75% of attendance and appeared for internal assessment examinations are eligible to appear the examinations.

3. A Candidate who has not successfully completed the previous BDS Examinations cannot appear for next higher BDS examination.

4. The calculation of attendance percentage will be up to 15.09.2020.

5. The uploading of the attendance of the candidates from 24.09.2020 to 28.09.2020.

6. The confirmation date for attendance shall be on 30.09.2020.

Payment of Examination fee:

I. a) Rs. 600/- Per Subject i.e 8 x 600 = Rs. 4800/-

b) Marks Memo - Rs. 300/- 

c) Processing Fee - Rs. 350/-

d) Provisional Fee - Rs. 400/-

Total Fees Rs.5850/-

(Processing fee & Provisional fee is for the candidates appearing for first time)

II. Last Date without Fine From 05.10.2020 to 12.10.2020

III. Last Date with a Fine of Rs. 200/- From 13.10.2020 to 15.10.2020

IV. Last Date with a Fine of Rs. 100/- per day in addition to Rs.200/- From 16.10.2020 to 18.10.2020

➢ Wearing of mask is mandatory for staff and students.
➢ Social distance of four to six feet between students is mandatory.

MDS Final Year Supplementary Examinations – October 2020 
KNRUHS – Exams – Conduct of MDS Final year Supplementary theory examinations in the month of OCTOBER, 2020
Eligibility To appear for MDS FINAL YEAR Theory Examinations
➢ The PG Dental Degree students who took admissions into the colleges in Telangana state whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS during the academic year 2017-18 and who have completed three years of study period (36 months) including period of examinations are eligible to appear for the ensuing examination. The principal concerned should submit study period completion certificate of the students.
➢ The Candidates who are Failed, detained and not attempted the earlier examinations are eligible to appear the MDS Theory Examinations subject to fulfillment of regulations.
➢ The students should put in academic year wise compulsory attendance of 80 per cent (i.e. in each year)
➢ Approval of dissertation work is an essential precondition for a candidate to appear in the University examination.
➢ The calculation of attendance percentage will be up to 15-09-2020.
➢ The uploading of the attendance of the candidates from 24-09-2020 to 28-09-2020.
➢ The confirmation date for attendance shall be on 30-09-2020.

Eligibility to appear for MDS First Year theory Examinations
➢ As per New Regulations of DCI, The PG Dental Degree students who took admissions into the colleges in Telangana state whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS during the academic year 2019-20 and who have completed one year course of study with minimum 80 percent attendance shall appear for Paper –I Basic Sciences.
➢ The Candidates who are failed, detained and not attempted the earlier examinations are eligible to appear the MDS First Year Theory Examinations subject to fulfillment of regulations.
➢ The calculation of attendance percentage is up to 15-09-2020.
➢ The uploading of the attendance of the candidates from 24-09-2020 to 28-09-2020.
➢ The confirmation date for attendance shall be on 30-09-2020.

The pattern of post Graduate Dental Degree Examinations for the Admitted batch 2019-20 as follows:
Distribution of Marks at the University Examinations:
Theory
Paper – I Basic Sciences: 100 Marks
Pattern of question paper of post Graduate Dental Degree Examination for the Admitted batch 2019-20.
Paper – I: There shall be 10 questions of 10 marks each (Total of 100 Marks)
Valuation of Answer books:
All the answer books shall be evaluated by the Internal and External examiners.
University Examination:
Only Basic Sciences paper
There shall be a theory examination in the Basic Sciences at the end of 1st year of the course. The candidates shall have to secure a minimum of 50% in the Basic Sciences and shall have to pass the PART –I examination at least six months period to the final (Part –II) examination.
