Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences loses first rank Manipal takes over: NIRF ranking 2021
New Delhi: The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021. The rankings have been released under various categories including engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, law, dental etc.
According to the NIRF ranking 2021, under the category of dental colleges, Manipal College of Dental Sciences ranked 1st position with the score of 81.30 replacing Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences which was ranked at no.1 in 2020. Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences bagged 4th position with the score of 77.57 this year.
Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth gained 2nd position with the score of 80.72 and Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences bagged 3rd position with the score of 78.33.
While, King George`s Medical University is a new entry to the list. The college ranked at 5th with the score of 71.78.
A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences slipped down to 6th position and Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore ranked 7th position.
As per NIRF 2021, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research bagged 8th position while SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital gained 9th position. SRM Dental College slipped to 10th position with the score of 63.57.
