NEET MDS 2024: BOPEE Begins Online Choice-Filling Process for 63 PG dental seats
Jammu & Kashmir- Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) has informed all the eligible candidates through a notification that the online choice-filling process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 will be conducted today i.e. 18th to 20th July 2024 (midnight).
As per the notification, candidates willing to fill out the preference form for allotment of seats/colleges have to pay an online fee of Rs 2000/- However, the amount deposited is not refundable. Candidate who fails to make online payment due to any reason including payment failure will not be considered for seat allotment under any circumstances.
Mere filling of preferences online will not entitle any candidate to admission, they will be provisionally selected till their eligibility is verified by the concerned Colleges/Institutes.
Meanwhile, BOPEE has also released the seat matrix for the said courses, which is also available on the official website of the board before the online choice-filling process begins.
As per the seat matrix, a total of 63 seats are vacant in 8 courses for NEET MDS counselling in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) was established by an Act of the State Legislature (Act No. XXV of 2002). Under the Act, the Board is entrusted with the task of conducting entrance examinations and recommending the selection of candidates for admission to various Professional courses in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh. These Programmes, interalia, include Nursing/Para-medical Courses as per SRO-505 dated 20-08-2019 & S.O 640 issued by the Health and Medical Education Department J&K Government.
