NEET MDS admissions 2026: MCC releases round 3, stray vacancy state counselling schedule, check key dates here
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun the NEET MDS 2026 counselling Round 3 for All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central Universities, and State Quota seats. The committee has released the Round 3 and the Stray Vacancy Round schedule on its official website.
According to the schedule, Round 3 counselling for AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities will be conducted from October 22 to October 31, 2026, while state counselling will take place from October 29 to November 9, 2026.
As per the schedule, candidates allotted seats during Round 3 of AIQ, Deemed and Central University counselling must complete the joining process by November 7, 2026. For state counselling, the last date of joining is November 16, 2026.
Following Round 3, the Stray Vacancy Round for AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities will be held from November 10 to November 19, 2026. The schedule specifies that the MCC will share the data of allotted candidates on November 19, 2026.
For State Quota seats, the Stray Vacancy Round will take place from November 18 to November 21, 2026. The last date for joining allotted institutions under the Stray Vacancy Round is November 28, 2026, for both AIQ and state counselling.
The schedule also mentions that the academic session for MDS courses commenced on October 1, 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-
