New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has informed candidates that the refund process for the security deposit paid during the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Counselling for the academic year 2025 will commence from December 15, 2025.

Through the notice, MCC has informed all the candidates who participated in MDS Counselling 2025 that the refund process for the security deposit of all eligible candidates will commence from W.e.f-15-12-2025. The refunds are being processed by HLL, the financial custodian of MCC.

The notice stated, 'Hence, the candidate must keep their card/bank account ACTIVE till the refund process is completed. If the card/bank account is closed before the completion of the refund, the bankers will not be able to complete the refund process. Since bankers will take a long time to identify & return the failed refunds to the Financial Custodian and legal formalities are to be complied with for initiating a refund to a different bank account, a refund to a new bank account will take a very long time. Neither Financial Custodian nor MCC will be responsible for such delay'.
