NEET 2026: KEA begins registrations for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS courses, apply now
Karnataka: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has invited applications from eligible candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses through NEET UG 2026 for the academic year 2026-27.
In a notification, the KEA announced the commencement of the online registration process for candidates who wish to participate in Karnataka UG medical counselling.
According to the notification, online registration and submission of applications will remain open till July 24, 2026. Eligible candidates can complete the application process through the official KEA portal.
The notification is meant for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani courses through UGNEET-2026 counselling conducted by KEA for the 2026-27 academic session.
Candidates will be able to complete several admission-related activities during the application period, including-
1 Fresh online registration for eligible candidates.
2 Uploading the 12th standard (Class 12) marks entry and relevant supporting documents.
3 Editing or correcting specific details in the application wherever permitted.
4 Uploading documents required for verification.
\KEA has advised candidates claiming reservation under SC, ST and OBC categories to ensure that they upload the prescribed caste and income certificates, wherever applicable, in accordance with the counselling guidelines.
The notification also mentions that candidates applying under categories such as OCI, PIO, NRI and Foreign Nationals should upload the required supporting documents during the registration process. Additionally, candidates seeking admission under Religious Minority and NRI Ward quotas at St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru, must submit the relevant documents as prescribed.
The authority has advised candidates to regularly visit the official KEA website for further updates regarding document verification, publication of the merit list, option entry and counselling schedule.
