NTRUHS To End Web Options For Final Special Round Counselling for BDS Vacancies Under Competent Authority Quota

Andhra Pradesh- Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS) has released a notice regarding exercising the web options for the vacancies available under the final special round counselling for admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses under the competent authority quota for the academic year 2024.

Through the notice, it is hereby informed that, after completion of the allotment process for Special Stray Vacancy (Final) Round-III of Counselling under Competent Authority Quota for admission into BDS course, 2024-25, a total of 09 seats remained vacant due to non-reporting by the allotted candidates. Therefore, the Dental Council of India, New Delhi, through a Public Circular announced that the last date for joining the BDS Course has been declared as 16 December 2024, for the academic session 2024-25.

Along with this, the Competent Authority for admissions under State Quota has decided to conduct a Final Special Round of Counselling to fill up the vacancies duly calling for fresh Web Options from the eligible candidates as per the following schedule-

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

1 Eligible respective reserved category candidates who are already found in the Final Merit Position under Competent Authority Quota and interested in joining BDS Course, 2024-25 can participate and exercise Web Options under this Notice provided that the candidates should not hold any seat in the previous phases of Counselling of All India Quota / State Quota / Deemed University.

2 Eligible candidates have to exercise prioritised web options for the Final Special Round. The allotments will be as per the rules applicable to the Competent Authority Quota.

NON-ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

1 Candidate who is not found in the Final Merit List of Competent Authority Quota of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P., Vijayawada.

2 Candidates already joined a seat (MBBS / BDS) in All India Quota / State Counselling / Deemed University in all Phases including Special Stray Vacancy Rounds.

3 Candidates who have been allotted BDS seats by Dr. NTRUHS in all Phases including Special Stray Rounds of Dr. NTRUHS Counselling (both CQ & MQ).

4 Candidates were found in the list shared by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) after the Special Stray Vacancy Round.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1 Candidates will receive a message regarding the allotment of seats if the seat is allotted.

2 Candidates who are allotted a seat under this notice have to report to the allotted college compulsorily with all original certificates, provisional allotment order, and copy of final application and pay the tuition fee, and college fee, such candidate cannot resign the seat allotted.

3 The University fee once paid shall not be refunded/adjusted to a future date under any circumstances.

4 Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences does not entertain or support seat blocking/cancellation of BDS seats.

5 In case any student is involved in seat blocking, legal action will be initiated against such candidate as per the rules.

6 Decision of the Competent Authority is final in all aspects.
