Pt BD Sharma University of Health Sciences notifies Special Stray Round Schedule For NEET MDS Counselling

Rohtak: The Pt. B.D.Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS Rohtak) has released the special stray round schedule for NEET MDS counselling 2024.

It is informed all the eligible candidates desirous of seeking MDS courses in all Government/ Private Unaided Dental Institutes including those under Private Universities - SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram and PDM University, Bahadurgarh in the State of Haryana for the Academic Session 2024-25, the tentative schedule for Special Stray Round counselling is as under:

2 Provisional Allocation of seats. 22.10.2024
3 Grievances, if any, on the provisional allocation list & Uploading allocation list after redressal of grievances. 22.10.2024
4 Deposition of Provisional tuition fee Online (through admission web portal only). 22.10.2024 to 24.10.2024 (upto 11: 59 PM)
5 Physical Document verification of candidates in Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (who have been allotted seats provisionally and successfully deposited the requisite provisional tuition fee through admission web portal only) and on spot joining/reporting in the allotted institute. 25.10.2024 (11.00 AM)

The candidates, who have already registered themselves for the Round-1, Round-2, Round-3 & Stray Round and wish to participate in the Special Stray Round, shall not be required to register again.

The candidates, who have been allotted seats to them in the Round-3 & Stray Round through All India Counseling/Any State Counseling shall not be eligible to participate in the Special Stray Round/further round of counseling(if any).

The candidates who have already "joined" on any seat allotted to them upto Stray Round through All India Counseling Any State Counseling shall not be eligible to participate in the Special Stray Round/further round of counseling even after resignation.

All candidates (already registered (irrespective of their admission status) and freshly registered candidates} who wish to participate in the Special Stray Round of counseling and want to opt for State Quota Seats in only Government/Government Aided/ Private Unaided Dental Colleges shall be required to deposit security fee online an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. 12,5001- for SC/SCDIBCA/BCBIEWS/PWBD of Haryana State) and if the candidate wishes to also opt for State Quota Seats/Management Quota Seats in Private Dental Colleges including Private Universities the he/she shall have to deposit online an amount of Rs. 2.00 Lakh. This facility shall be available in the login ID of the candidates on admission web portal. In case of failure of any registered candidate to deposit the requisite security amount, they will NOT be considered eligible to participate in the Special Stray Round of counseling.

In case of candidate join on the allotted seat, this security amount shall be adjusted in the tuition fee of the first year of PG Course.

If the candidates are allotted any seat as per their preference in Special Stray Round, but they do not join on the allotted seat, the security amount shall be forfeited and these candidates will not be eligible to participate in the further round(if any).

The security amount of the candidates who are not allotted any seat during the Round 2/Round-3/Stray Round/ Special Stray Round shall be returned after the completion of the counseling process.

The candidates, who had deposited security amount in Round-2/Round-3/ Stray Round but not allotted any seat shall not deposit security amount for Special Stray Round.

All candidates whose documents are successfully verified will have to report and submit their all-original relevant documents on the spot to the representatives of the concerned institutes.

In case the candidate gives wrong information at the time of registration on the basis of which a seat may be allotted and later cancelled during document verification or fails to produce the required documents at the time of document verification, the security amount fee shall be forfeited.

As per Govt. of Haryana notification dated 09.07.2024, Clause 10(xv), "after exhaustion of merit list of the candidates who have applied under various reserved categories, vacant seats (if any) shall be reverted back to their original category(ies) of seats as per State Reservation Policy and filled up as per merit after conversion (For eg. BC-A seat to BC-B and finally to UR) and filled up in the 3rd round itself for both Government and Private Institutes. However, in case of any seat falling vacant after the 3rd round in any category, it shall first be offered to candidates belonging to original category of vacant seat of the previous round. In case, if the seat still remains vacant, the same shall be filled as per system in the 3rd round and so on"

The choices filled by the candidates for the Round-1/ Round-2/Round-31Stray Round of counseling shall be treated as null and void and the candidates will have to fill fresh choices for Special Stray Round.
