Chattisgarh: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has released the eligible, non-eligible list for PC&PNDT Exam-2021.

DME has previously notified that selected candidates can download the admit card between 14th March 2022 to 19th March 2022. The written exam date will be held on 20th March 2022. A practical examination will be held between 29th March 2022 & 30th March 2022, and the venue will be the Department of Radiodiagnosis, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, Raipur. Results will be declared on 2nd April 2022.

Eligibility for the Competency-Based test under PCPNDT

6 months training certificate is required from any recognized institute.

1 year or more experience in a state-registered Genetic Clinic, ultrasound clinic, or imaging center.

Only practised candidates will be eligible for different districts in Chhattisgarh state. However, those candidates who are working in the ultrasound center registered in the office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer District of Chhattisgarh state will also be eligible.

Pre-Conception and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (PC&PNDT) Act was formed in 1994 by the Parliament of India to stop female foeticides and reduce the declining sex ratio in India. The act banned prenatal sex determination. The act's primary purpose is to ban the use of sex selection techniques before or after conception and prevent the misuse of a prenatal diagnostic technique for sex-selective abortion.

DME is the state authority under the control of the state government. It overlooks medical and dental education in the state through medical and dental colleges. It is located in Raipur.
