DME Gujarat extends Last Date For UG Courses Round 2 Refund Process
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has extended the last processing date of the round 2 refund process for UG courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS) till 20th March 2023 till noon. 5 more days of extension have been given. Previously the last date of the refund process was 15th March 2023.
The candidates, who have either admitted/ not been admitted in Medical/Dental/Ayurvedic/Homeopathy and are eligible for the refund from the tuition fee paid at ACPUGMEC, have to fill in the online details at http://www.medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx; regarding their refund, Bank Name; Bank Account No.; Bank MICR No.; IFSC No.; Account Holder Name.
For the refund of fees paid at ACPUGMEC, the NRI Candidates have to fill in the details of the Indian Account. Do not fill in the details of the NRE/NRO account.
The candidates note that the refund will be paid through Electronic Transfer in their bank account. The amount will not be transferred if there is a mismatch in filled account details or a dormant/frozen account due to banking reasons.

The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly, has passed an act, Act No.3 of 2008, called “Gujarat Professional Educational Medical Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007,” to make special provision for the regulation of admission in the Professional Medical educational courses in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and for matter connected in addition to that. As per the powers conferred to State Government, in Section 20(1) of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat, by way of a notification, had constituted “Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC)” to regulate the admission of candidates to the Professional Medical/ Dental/Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Naturopathy degree courses.
