Maharashtra: Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER Maharashtra) has released the provisional selection list for transfer of the second-year MBBS course 2021-2022.

The list includes Appl., SML, Name, Res., AIR, Current Selection Details, Reliving College, and Code of Applied Colleges. 45 candidates have been granted permission for the transfer. To view the list, click on the link below –

The selected candidate should download the transfer letter from the website of med-edu.in by login in with their User ID and Password. They must download four copies of the transfer letter, one each for relieving college, receiving college, MUHS, and Self.

The candidate should strictly follow the instructions mentioned in the transfer letter and join within the period of 14.2.2023 to 24.2.2023 on working days. The selected candidates should produce original documents mentioned in the brochure during verification for the transfer of the 2nd Year MBBS course – regular (May-June 2021) and supplementary (September-October 2021) batch at the time of joining at receiving college.


The transfer of students is considered on the following grounds –

1. Death of Father/Mother or supporting guardian, as declared at the time of admission, will be considered open ground. However, to be eligible under this ground, the death of the Father/Mother or supporting guardian should have occurred after admission to the 1st MBBS course.

2. The candidate seeking transfer after 1st year MBBS in health. The illness should have occurred on or after 1st year of MBBS admission.

3. Illness of the candidate for which there is no treatment available at the location of the parent institute or for which the candidate will need regular follow-up at least once a month to another location where a candidate is seeking transfer.

4. One of the parents is terminally ill/bedridden / having severe irreversible organ damage / having locomotors disability of 65% and above.

Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Maharashtra supervises Medical Education, i.e., Under Graduate, Post Graduate, and Super Specialization. It also coordinates the Research activities in Fundamental Research, Applied Research & Operational Research in the Institutions under its control and through Out-reach Services. This enables the Government to improve the Health Status of the people in society.
