Doctors to hold Protest at Jantar Mantar demanding Postponement of NEET PG 2022
New Delhi: In an attempt to further escalate the demands for postponing NEET PG 2022, the aspirants of the postgraduate medical entrance examination are all set to hold a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar tomorrow i.e. May 8, 2022.
The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has also supported the plan for protest and has urged all the doctors to support the junior doctors and arrive at Jantar Mantar between 3 PM to 4 PM.
"Mask is must. Wear apron," mentioned the Association, as it requested the doctors to take part in the silent and non-violent protest.
Speaking to the Medical Dialogues regarding the issue, Dr. Rohan Krishnan, the President of FAIMA said, "Tomorrow various medical associations are going to come together and protest with their demands for NEET PG postponement. I myself shall lead this silent protest, the main motto of which is to make the Government understand that there needs to be a proper gap between the NEET PG 2021 counselling and the NEET PG 2022 examination date. We have already taken permission from the Delhi Commissioner of Police and it will be a silent and non violent protest. We chose the date of protest as Sunday as we did not want to hamper the ongoing treatment of patients."
