Vijayawada: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences has invited applications for the Ph.D. program for the academic years 2020-21 and 2021-22.

Following are the field included in the program –

1. Modern Medicine (pre-clinical, Para–clinical and Clinical subjects)

2. Dental Sciences

3. Ayurveda

4. Homoeopathy

5. Physiotherapy

6. Nursing courses

7. Other Allied Health Sciences

The application form revised regulations for the Ph.D. program and a list of recognized centers and guides are available on the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in. Between 24th May 2022 to 25th June 2022 the candidates can send the application form. All the above dates are tentative, and the university reserves the right to change them without assigning any reason or advance notice. The application form is attached below.

The candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 5900, including GST charges of @18%. The fee can be paid through DD drawn in favor of "The Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences payable at Vijayawada. The venue to send the DD is The Convener, Ph.D. Admissions – 2020-21 & 2021-22, 1st Floor of Silver Jublee Block, Admissions Wing, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.

The candidates will have to send the filled-in application form along with copies of requisite certificates and the DD to complete the application process. The applications received after the last date (25th June 2022) will not be considered.

List of self-attested documents to be attached along with application form -

1. Educational Qualifications (Undergraduate, Postgraduate etc.)

2. Date of Birth Proof (Copy of SSC).

3. Service Certificate issued by the Directorate concerned in respect of Govt. Service and the Management in respect of Private Service.

4. No Objection Certificate for doing Ph.D. programme from the Directorate concerned in respect of Govt. Service.

5. Detailed plan of research. (Title, Background, Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Facilities available, Expected Results, Statistics, Implications/ relevance of the study, references, time frame etc.

6. Clearance Certificate issued by Institutional Ethics Committee – human / animal, as applicable.

7. Letter issued by Dr. NTR UHS recognizing the Guide.

8. Letter issued by Dr. NTR UHS recognizing the Ph.D. Centre.

9. Copy of Registration with Clinical Trial Registry of India (CTRI), if the clinical trial is involved in research work.

10. NOC from the Head of the Department regarding any specialized work [See Rule VI(c) of Regulations].

11. Any other document(s) as per Regulations.

2. Lists of recognized centers – 23 (2020-21, 2021-22)
