FMG internship in Rajasthan: Medical Council invites Applications, check details
Rajasthan- Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) is inviting online applications for Foreign Medical Graduate Students Internship (CRMI) for the vacant seats for the academic year 2024-2025.
As per the schedule, the registration process for CRMI will begin on November 25, 2024, and end on November 29, 2024, and the correction process will done on 30th November 2024 and 01st December 2024. After the completion of the registration process, the internship seat allotment will be done on 06th December 2024 and following this, the Internship process will begin on 12th December 2024.

It is to be noted that the seats will be allotted on a priority basis to foreign medical graduate students of Rajasthan origin who have passed the National Board of Examination (NBE) eligibility test, followed by seats to eligible foreign medical graduate students from other states on the basis of merit.
INSTRUCTIONS AND DIRECTIONS OF ONLINE COUNSELLING FOR INTERNSHIP OF FMG’S
1 The applications are accepted only on a pro-rata basis, based on the total number of seats available in Medical Colleges and Non-teaching hospitals (attached with Medical Colleges) of the State
2 Rajasthan Medical Council has the right to reject any application in case it doesn't fulfil the criteria.
3 Online counselling will be conducted only in the single and final round. Candidates who are selected for counselling will join concerned Medical Colleges upto the scheduled date positively.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Medical Council will scrutinise all the applications and shall prepare two Merit lists according to the following criteria and the same will be published on the website of the Rajasthan Medical Council as per the prescribed schedule-
CRITERIA FOR PREPARING MERIT LIST
1 A merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores/marks obtained in the NBE.
2 Merit List 1- Candidates who are residents of Rajasthan (Passport/ Domicile certificate as Address proof) based on NBE score and have completed their (10+2) from CBSE/Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or Equivalent Board in Rajasthan.
3 Merit List 2- For candidates who are residents of other states, a merit list will be prepared based on the NBE score/marks obtained by the candidate.
4 In case of more than one candidate with the same score, merit will be determined based on the following criteria-
i Candidate who has secured a higher percentage in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) marks in (10+2) examinations.
ii Candidate who has secured a higher percentage in the subject of Biology marks in 10+2 examinations.
iii Candidate who is older as per date of birth.
iv The seats will be first allotted to candidates according to Merit List I & then Merit List 2 respectively.
IMPORTANT POINTS
1 The candidates according to Merit Lists are eligible to apply online for Provisional Registration with Rajasthan Medical Council according to schedule after joining the internship in Medical College/Institution.
2 The selected candidates have to join the internship programme immediately up to the scheduled date positive from the date when the list is uploaded on the official website of Rajasthan Medical Council.
3 The candidate has to submit an affidavit stating clearly whether his/her studies were online offline/partially online/partially offline, the affidavit should not be less than the Notary Public level.
4 Candidate will attach all required documents (scanned copy) which would be confirmed by their passport in the concerned Medical College with the online application form and at the time of joining the internship and he/she will get them verified with original documents in the office of Principal & Controller of concerned Medical Colleges.
5 During the scrutiny of applications or at the time of internship joining. if any information/document is found to be fractious, the application form can be rejected and for that candidate will be responsible solely.
6 If Fake documents/Fordge/Fabricated documents are found action will be taken under Bhartiya Nayay Sanhita (BNS) for that candidate will be responsible.
7 Candidates who are already doing internship through previous counselling conducted by this council, are not eligible for this online counselling. If any candidate applies again for this counselling, their application will be rejected and for this, he/she will be liable/responsible.
8 Internship counselling application fees of Rs. 5000/- + 18% GST will be paid to the council by FMG students.
9 The period of internship would be according to instructions issued by NMC from time to time.
