JIPMER Invites Application For American Heart Association Certified BLS, ACLS Courses, details

Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has invited applications for the American Heart Association (AHA) certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses by the Department of Emergency Medicine & Trauma.

As per the notice, the courses will be conducted on 23.11.2023, 24.11.2023, and 25.11.2023. The applicants need to apply till 15.11.2023 (5:00 pm). The link to the registration form is enclosed in the notice below. The candidates need to register 10 days before the conference.

The course will be conducted as per revised 2020 AHA guidelines. E-books will be provided after course registration. A maximum of 30 candidates can participate.

The candidates who wish to apply must pay Rs 8000 as a course fee. They can pay through cash/cheque/DD/NEFT. The bank account details are mentioned in the notice below.

The candidates note that no spot registration will be done. Cancellation will not be allowed once registered. The fee, once paid, will not be refunded. Throughout the conduction of courses on both days' strict COVID-19 prevention protocol will be followed.

Basic Life Support (BLS) courses for healthcare professionals train them to recognize several life-threatening emergencies promptly, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced course that builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR and high-performance team dynamics.

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is a medical school located in Pondicherry. It is an Institute of National Importance (INI) and a tertiary care referral hospital. It is under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Indian Government, with autonomy to run its internal administration. The courses included are UG, PG, Super Specialty, Fellowship, PhD Program, Post Basic Diploma, and Certificate Courses.
