Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) has released the prospectus for admission to M.Sc. Allied Health Science, M.Sc. Nursing, Master of Public Health, Post Basic Diploma in Nursing, Postgraduate Diploma in Genetic Counseling, Postgraduate fellowship in Family Planning.

The online registration process started on 24th May 2022 and continues till 20th June 2022, 4.30 pm. The candidates can download the hall ticket from 1st July 2022, 11:00 am, till 9th July 2022, 8:00 am. The entrance exam will be conducted on 9th July 2022 between 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The entrance examination will be conducted only through a computer-based test (CBT). The duration of the examination shall be for one hour and thirty minutes. Candidates whose applications are complete in all respects can download their hall tickets for the entrance examination from 1st July 2022, 11 am onwards tentatively.

Candidates will be allowed to appear for the entrance examination only if they produce the hall ticket, identity proof in original & a photocopy of the same. Candidates are strictly prohibited from writing anything on the hall ticket, and it will be collected at the examination center at the end of the examination. This hall ticket is issued subject to the condition that the candidature will be canceled if ineligibility is detected at any stage.

The merit list will be published on or before 23rd July 2022. Letters to individual candidates will not be sent. The marks/Percentile Scores of individual candidates will be made available on JIPMER Website (www.jipmer.edu.in). The details of the counseling process will be announced on the JIPMER website after the declaration of results. Candidates are advised to visit the JIPMER website www.jipmer.edu.in for further updates periodically.

The candidates will have to pay the nonrefundable application fee online –

1. General (UR) / EWS - Rs.1500 + Transaction Charges as applicable

2. OBC - Rs.1500 + Transaction Charges as applicable

3. SC/ST - Rs.1200 + Transaction Charges as applicable

4. PwD - Exempted from Application Fees

The entrance exam will tentatively be held in these 10 cities –

1. Ahmedabad

2. Bengaluru

3. Bhubaneswar

4. Chennai

5. Hyderabad

6. Kochi

7. Kolkata

8. Mumbai

9. New Delhi

10. Puducherry

Candidates can opt for only three exam cities. The allotment of exam city would be as per the order of preference clicked by the candidates during online registration on a first-come-first-serve basis and based on the availability. The exam city preference is only indicative and subject to change.

A total of 119 seats are available for the courses mentioned above.

4. Attempt certificate (For MPH course only).

5. Sponsorship certificate, Proforma for Endorsement by the Employer & Sponsorship Certificate by Central/State Govt./Armed Forces (*For MPH course - Sponsored candidate only).

6. Experience certificate (if applicable) 

7. Community Certificate (For OBC/SC/ST candidates only).

8. Economically Weaker Sections Certificate (For EWSs candidates only )

9. Persons with Disability (if applicable).
