MCC Releases List Of 7 Medical Colleges that received Late LOP For MBBS Course, now added to counselling, Details
Delhi: In an important update for candidates aiming for MBBS admissions this year, the Medical Counselling committee has released the list of 7 colleges whose MBBS seats are now going to be added to the next rounds of counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) informed that these medical colleges received late (Letter of Permission) LOP for the MBBS course an on this account, their seats could not be added to the first round of counselling.
The following are the medical colleges who LOP came late –
1. Govt. Medical College, Anantnag
2. M.S.D ASMC , Bahraich
3. GMC, Udhampur
4. NAMO Medical College & Research Institute, Silvassa
5. GMC, Bundi
6. GMC, Hanumangarh.
7. GMC, Kathua
These above colleges have received LOP late for undergraduate courses, i.e., after the start of Round-1 of UG Counselling 2023 and hence could not contribute their seats on the MCC portal for Round-1 of counseling. The seats of these colleges will be taken up by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS in Round-2 of UG Counselling 2023.
The notice read, “It is to inform that some Government/Private Colleges who received LOP late for undergraduate courses, i.e, after the start of Round-1 of UG Counselling 2023, could not contribute their seats on MCC portal for Round-1 of counselling. The seats of such colleges will be taken up by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS in Round-2 of UG Counselling 2023”.
The Medical Dialogues team had reported earlier that MCC released the NEET UG counseling schedule. The schedule has been released for All India Quota (15%)/ Deemed/Central Universities/ All AIIMS Institutes/ JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal).
There are a total of 4 rounds of the counseling process. i.e. round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round.
