MD Medicine doctor bags Rank 1 in NEET SS 2023, 12 Doctors from NIMS qualify exam

These 12 doctors include Dr Subramanyam (1st rank), Dr Sharat Chandra (11th rank), Dr Abhishekh (32nd rank), Dr Naveen Kumar (35th rank), Dr Bhanu (49th rank), Dr Keerthi (58th rank), Dr Abhilash (356th rank), Dr Khaleel (559th rank), Dr Suguna (656th rank), Dr Nandita (796th rank), Dr Zakeer (870th rank), Dr Dinesh (1199th rank).

The doctor who scored 1st rank in the examination is from the General Medicine department of NIMS. The aforementioned doctors will now pursue superspecialty courses after securing excellent scores in the NEET SS 2023. 

The Director of NIMS, Dr Bheerappa told Telangana Today, "The hospital management ensured that proper environment is created for NEET SS-2023 preparation. The results of NEET SS 2023 have been groundbreaking for NIMS. Such a large number of top rankers from NIMS has made us very proud. 

"To ensure the young doctors get enough space to prepare for the examination properly, we ensured they get ample time and are not put under unnecessary pressure. Necessary facilities and proper guidance from seniors were also provided to them at the right time,” he added.

Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences is a public hospital located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and is named after its founder – the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad– and was inaugurated by Princess Durreshehvar It is an Institute under the State Legislature Act under the Act of Andhra Pradesh State Legislature. 

NEET SS or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) is conducted by the National Board of Education for admission to various DM/ M.Ch. Courses. It is a qualifying cum ranking examination for admission to super speciality courses.

Medical Dialogues team recently reported that the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the results of NEET SS 2023. NEET-SS 2023 was conducted on 29th and 30th September 2023 as a single entrance examination to DM/MCh/DrNB Super Specialty courses of the 2023-2024 academic admission session.

The result cum merit list of NEET-SS 2023 has been declared for all the groups and can be seen at NBEMS websites. Candidates placed at the 50th percentile score or above in their respective groups are declared as qualified as per the minimum qualifying criteria indicated in the Information Bulletin.
