48 PG Medical Seats In Private Medical Colleges remain Vacant after Round 3 Counselling
Gujarat: At the end of the 3rd round, 48 seats in private medical colleges remain vacant for PG degree and diploma courses.
1411 seats were there in the beginning of the counselling process and by the end of rounds 1 and 2, 276 non-reported seats remain vacant. For round 3, 63 new seats were added. 444 candidates were upgraded and 341 candidates who were not allotted seat in the previous rounds were allotted seats in the round 3.
As per media reports from TOI, the seats that have been remaining vacant are in non-clinical branches. Non-clinical branches include anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, forensic medicine and community medicine. All the non-clinical seats in government colleges have been filled up.
In round 3, admission was given on newly added seats, non-reported seats of round 2 and cancelled seats after round 2.
The payment of fees for round 3 can be done till 5th May 2022, 12:00 pm. Payment of tuition fees can be done online or by cash, or by Demand Draft in favour of "ACPUGMEC" payable at Gandhinagar at designated branches of Axis Bank approved by ACPPGMEC (List of designated branches of Axis Bank is available on the admission committee's website www.medadmgujarat.org) during banking hours (Closed on banking holidays).
Candidates can report to help center till 5th May 2022, 4:00 pm. They will have to take prior appointment for the document submission at help center. The date and time for document submission can be selected at the time of printing the allotment letter.
The candidates who have participated or did not participate in round 3, the admission of round 2, were allowed to upgrade to the same college and subject by a change of category or change of quota.
Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Courses (ACPPGMEC) is the counselling body that conducts the counselling process for PG Medical admission across Gujarat.
