53 CPS Diploma seats remain vacant: DME Gujarat
Gujarat: 53 seats are left vacant for CPS Diploma Courses 2021-22, the Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has recently announced. The rank-wise admitted list has also been released.
The highest number of seats is vacant for Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases (53), followed by DCH (15) and DBP (15).
Following is the seat matrix –
1. Diploma in Child Health (DCH) – 15
2. Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGO) – 8
3. Diploma in Pathology and Bacteriology (DPB) – 15
4. Diploma in Anesthesiology (DA) – 6
5. Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery (DOMS) – 5
6. Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases - 53
DCH has 10 colleges, DGO has 5 colleges, DPB has 9 colleges, DA has 3 colleges, DOMS has 3 colleges, and Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases has 4 colleges.
No updates have been announced for these 53 vacant seats. The candidate needs to keep a track of https://www.medadmgujarat.org/ for further updates on the vacant seats.

The candidates who have selected the help center for the offline round of CPS Diploma Courses 2021-22 were allowed to participate in the offline round. The counselling process was carried out on 14th June 2022.
7 medical colleges were there where the video conferencing happened. The candidate who remained absent at the date and time of counselling allotted to them have no right to admission. The admission committee allotted the seats as on available vacancies.
Due to the current pandemic situation and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and instructions from the Government of Gujarat, the counselling process was conducted through video conferencing. The counselling process was organized by Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPPGMEC).
