AFMC Announces Schedule Of Special Stray Vacancy Round For NEET PG admissions, details
Pune: Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has announced the schedule for a special stray vacancy round for NEET PG counselling for Priority III, IV, and V candidates.
As per the notice, the counseling for Priority III will be carried out on 22nd November 2023 by 2.30 pm in online mode, Priority IV on 22nd November 2023 by 3.30 pm in online mode, and Priority V on 25th November 2023 from 7.30 am onwards.
Priority V candidates are to report at Dhanvantari Hall in AFMC, Pune, by 07:30 am on 25th November 2023 on an empty stomach for medical examination. Candidates reporting after 09:00 AM will not be allowed to participate in the AFMS counseling. PG (MD/MS/DNB) seats will be offered only to those candidates who are found Medically Fit. Available Seats (MD/MS/DNB) for Priority V candidates in various AFMS institutions will be intimated after counseling of Priority-IV candidates scheduled to be held on 22 Nov 2023.
The following Priority III and IV candidates are eligible to participate -
Candidates who are not holding any seat either in All India Quota, State Quota, or in AFMS Institutions are eligible to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of AFMS PG Counselling.
The following Priority III and IV candidates are not eligible to participate -
Candidates who did not join their seats allotted through MCC/AFMS Round-3 onwards are ‘Not Eligible’ to participate.
The following Priority V Candidates are eligible to participate –
1. Candidates below 30 years of age as of 31 Dec 2023 (i.e., DOB on or after 01 Jan 1994) as mentioned in para 18(a) of Information Bulletin for PGadmission 2023.
2. Candidates registered on the MCC website and opted for AFMS.
3. Candidates who are not holding any seat either in All India Quota, State Quota, or in AFMS Institutions are eligible to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of AFMS PG Counselling. However, candidates who did not join their seats allotted through MCC/AFMS Round-3 onwards are ‘Not Eligible’ to participate. An undertaking to that effect is to be submitted to AFMC Pune on the day of counseling. The format of the undertaking certificate is attached to this notice.
Priority-III candidates desirous of attending the Special Stray Vacancy Round of AFMSPG counseling 2023 are required to forward a scanned copy of the following documents by e-mail to neetpge@gmail.com with the subject ‘NEET PG ROLL NOXYZ: PRIORITY-IIIAFMS SPECIAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND OF PG COUNSELLING-2023’. The documents will be accepted till 12:00 Noon on 22 Nov 2023.
Priority IV candidates desirous of attending the Special Stray Vacancy Round of AFMSPG Counseling 2023 are required to forward a scanned copy of the following documents by e-mail to neetpge@gmail.com with the subject ‘NEET PG ROLL NOXYZ: PRIORITYIV SPECIAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND OF AFMS PG COUNSELLING2023’. The documents will be accepted till 12:00 noon on 22 Nov 2023.
The following are the documents to be submitted –
Priority III -
1. NEET PG-2023 Admit Card
2. Duly signed and stamped sponsorship certificate with choice of subjects permitted by sponsoring authority in the prescribed format as mentioned in Appx A of the Information Bulletin for PG admission 2023
3. Undertaking cert as per format attached to this notice
4. NEET PG- 2023 Score Card
5. MCC Registration Slip
Priority IV –
1. NEET PG-2023 Admit Card
2. Copy of release order from AFMS by DGAFMS/ Concerned Medical Directorate
3. Undertaking cert as per format attached to this notice
4. NEET PG- 2023 Score Card
5. MCC Registration Slip
The following needs to be specified in the e-mail –
1. E-mail ID registered for NEET PG-2023 with NBE
2. Mobile No registered with NBE for NEET PG-2023
3. Alternative Mobile No
The subject of the e-mail must be as specified at para above. Any requests received after the stipulated time will not be accepted. Not abiding with the contents of this notice may result in the candidate not being called for the AFMS Special Stray Vacancy Round of PG counseling 2023.
All candidates must ensure that they also fulfill all the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Information Bulletin for AFMS Post Graduate courses in AFMS Institutions through NEET – PG 2023.
