AIIMS Begins Registration Process For INI CET July 2023 Session, check out details
Delhi: The basic registration process for PG Courses [MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs) & MDS] for INI-CET July 2023 Session has begun. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has announced this through a written notice.

General instructions related to application and application fee –
1. Basic Registration has been #ACCEPTED for July 2019, January 2020, July 2020, January 2021, July 2021 session, January 2022, July 2022, and January 2023 are not required to complete Registration and Basic information again. They will have to complete the application form only after Generation of Examination Unique Code (EUC Code)] Editing of Registration and Basic information (after the last date of editing, editing of Registration and Basic information will not be allowed).
2. Completion of the Application form (only for the candidates who have generated the EUC code).
3. Editing of completion of the Application form (Change of category will not be allowed after payment of registration fee in any circumstances).
4. The edit panel will be available per schedule only for candidates requiring correction in Registration & Basic candidate information or completing the application form. The editing shall be done only by the candidate. The candidate will be responsible for all corrections. No corrections are allowed after the closing date of editing.
5. Date(s) of valid OBC (NCL) certificate: The OBC (-NCL) certificates should have been issued between 08.05.2022 to 07.05.2023 (date of Exam), both dates inclusive.
6. Date(s) of valid EWS certificate: The EWS certificate must be good for the financial year 2023-2024 and issued between 01.04.2023 to 07.05.2023 (on or before the Exam date), both dates inclusive based on the income of the year 2022-2023.
7. The candidates can pay the prescribed application fee through debit card/ credit card/ net banking. Transaction/Processing fee, if any, as applicable, will be payable to the respective bank, etc., by the candidates.
8. Application fees, once remitted, shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
9. If due for any reason, the application fee is paid more than once against one application form, the additional payments shall be refunded to applicants after verification & completion of the examination process.
10. Applications without the prescribed fee shall not be accepted and summarily rejected.

The Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi, in consultation with nodal officers from all INIs, administers INI-CET. AIIMS, New Delhi, is the sole authority for conducting all aspects related to the Combined Entrance Test, such as application, the conduct of exam, declaration of results, and Seat Allocation, as its responsibility is limited to these aspects of INI-CET only.
Admission/Seat allocation into any participating INI will be governed by the rules and regulations of respective institutes as applicable. The Head of Institutions of the individual will administer it.
Eligibility criteria –
For Indian National –
1. The candidate must possess an MBBS MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and a BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India, respectively.
2. The candidate must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st July 2023 for all INIs except PGIMER Chandigarh.
3. Candidates who have completed the required 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 30th June 2023 are eligible for PG courses at PGIMER Chandigarh.
4. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories, 50% marks in aggregate.
5. For all other categories, including OBC/EWS Category, 55% marks in aggregate.
6. For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates, the minimum aggregate will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
7. The eligibility of Sponsored Candidates concerning the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be the same as other categories mentioned above.
8. For Indian National candidates who have graduated from foreign Universities marks obtained in the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) shall be considered instead of aggregate marks.
For Foreign National candidates –
1. A candidate must possess an MBBS MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses and must have completed the required 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before as per mentioned in Part A of Section – IV at Page-4.
2. The eligibility of applicants concerning the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be 55% aggregate or equivalent.
3. The No Objection Certificate (NOC) obtained from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, should be submitted.
4. Overseas Citizens of India candidates can apply for Foreign National seats. OCI candidates are not required to obtain NOC. However, they must upload the scan copy of the OCI card on or before the date(s) mentioned in the Important Dates Section of Prospectus Part-A.
Admit card -
1. The candidates must have a printout of Admit Card downloaded from the portal of INI-CET to be allowed to appear for the examination.
2. The admit card must bear the details of printouts such as IP address etc.
3. Candidate must follow the instruction given on admit card and other relevant information published on the INI-CET portal.
4. The admit card for INI-CET will be available online only. It can be downloaded from the link at “MyPage” after logging in using the Registration ID, Password, and Exam Unique Code (EUC) after Application Zone for INI-CET July 2023.
5. The admit card will be downloadable as per the schedule.
6. Admit Card will be issued only to the applicants who have completed all the Stages of the Application Form for INI-CET July 2023.
7. The applicants must download the Admit Card and are required to check the information related to the applicant carefully. If the applicant observes any discrepancies or errors, they must bring it to the notice of the Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi, through email (email id: aiims.inicet@gmail.com).
Mode and Scheme of Examination –
1. The examination for INI-CET July 2023 will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.
2. Duration - 3 hours (180 minutes)
3. Number of Questions – 200
4. Type of Questions - Objective type of questions of varying types (including Single Correct Choice and Multiple Correct Choice Questions
5. Correct Answer - One Mark (+1)
6. Incorrect Answer - Minus one-third (-) 1/3
7. Unanswered / Marked for Review - 0
Resolution of Tie Cases –
In cases where more than one candidate secures equal MARKS, the tie will be resolved by applying the following criteria sequentially, 1) less negative marks and 2) Older by age.
Seat allocation –
1. The seat allocation shall be done in order of merit, choices made by the candidate, and as per the reservation policies of individual INIs about Institutional Preference, Community reservation (OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.), and PwBD as applicable, through a process of Institute-wise Synchronization of Seat Allocation (In SAS).
2. Postgraduate seats remaining vacant even after the open round may be filled by the conduct of a ‘Spot Round’ by individual INIs after due approval of their competent authority.
The candidates note that all the processes related to INI-CET will be administered through its portal accessible through www.aiimsexams.ac.in. All notices and information related to the conduct of INI-CET shall be regularly updated on this website. Legal and disciplinary action will be initiated by AIIMS, New Delhi, against persons who are found to be guilty of misconduct. The detailed reasons for misconduct are enclosed in the notice below.
