AIIMS INI CET July Session entrance test To Be Conducted tomorrow, Check out Exam Details
Delhi: INI CET July 2023 Session entrance exam to be conducted on 7th May 2023. The entrance exam is being carried out for MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years), and MDS courses. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has issued details related to the exam.
The candidates must have a printout of the admit card downloaded from the portal INI-CET to be allowed to appear for the examination. The admit card has already been released. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center unless they possess an admit card valid for INI-CET July 2023 Session.
All requirements mentioned in the admit card must be complied with for entry into the examination center. The admit card must bear the printout details, such as the IP address. Candidate must follow the instruction given on admit card along with other relevant information that will be published on the INI-CET portal.
The examination for INI-CET July 2023 will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode. The duration will be for 3 hours, with 200 questions to attempt. The question will be objective (including Single Correct Choice and Multiple Correct Choice questions). For every correct answer, one mark will be given; for incorrect answers, minus one-third; and for unanswered / marked for review, zero.
The percentile scores in INI-CET will be used to determine eligibility for admission to postgraduate seats in all participating INIs. The minimum percentile cut-off required for applicants will be as follows –
1. For seats under Unreserved (UR), EWS, Sponsored & Foreign Nationals [including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)] will be 50th percentile.
2. For OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, and Bhutanese Nationals (PGI-Chandigarh only), seats will be 45th percentile.
Resolution of tie cases –
In cases where more than one candidate secures equal MARKS, the tie will be resolved by applying the following criteria sequentially -
1. Less negative marks
2. Older by age
The Persons with Benchmark Disabilities in the categories of blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected – BA), and cerebral palsy will be provided the facility of the scribe if desired by the person. They will be allowed compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour of the exam.
The admission exam will be purely provisional based on the information they gave in the application form. This will be subject to verification of all the eligibility conditions. The fact that an admit card to the examination has been issued to the candidates will not imply that their candidature has been finally cleared or that entries made by the candidates in their application for INI-CET July 2023 have been accepted as true and correct.
