AIIMS invites applications for INI SS January 2027 session, last date October 9
New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has invited online applications for the Institute of National Importance Super-Speciality Entrance Test (INI SS) January 2027 session for admission to post-doctoral DM and MCh three-year courses.
As per the admission notice, the entrance examination will be conducted for admission to super-speciality courses offered by AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, JIPMER Puducherry and SCTIMST Trivandrum.
The online registration process for the DM/MCh (3-year) courses is ongoing. Candidates can submit their applications till October 9, 2026, up to 5:00 pm. Below is the detailed schedule-

The notification specifically covers admissions to the January 2027 session across the participating Institutes of National Importance. Candidates planning to apply have been advised to complete the registration process within the prescribed deadline.
AIIMS has advised candidates to refer to the official examination website for the detailed prospectus and other information related to the entrance examination. The institute has also asked applicants to regularly check the website, as all subsequent corrigenda, addenda and updates will be uploaded online only.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that AIIMS New Delhi has announced the schedule for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) January 2027 session for admission to postgraduate medical and dental courses. According to the Admission Notice issued by the AIIMS Examination Section, online applications have been invited for entrance to MD, MS, MCh (6 years), DM (6 years) and MDS courses for the January 2027 academic session.
The entrance examination will facilitate admission to postgraduate courses offered by AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS institutes, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh and SCTIMST Trivandrum.
