INI SS July 2026 open round: AIIMS adds more seats across 4 institutes
New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has revised the seat positions for the Open Round of INI SS July 2026 counselling.
The revisions have been announced through an addendum in continuation of the earlier seat positions for the Open Round of online institute allocation for DM and MCh admissions. According to the revised seat positions, seats have been added in the General category in several DM and MCh super-speciality courses at AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Mangalagiri, AIIMS Bibinagar and AIIMS Jodhpur.
The institute earlier had no General, Sponsored or Foreign National vacancies listed for the Open Round. Following the latest revision, one General seat has now been made available in MCh Neurosurgery at AIIMS Rishikesh, while the Sponsored and Foreign National seat positions remain unchanged at zero.
In DM Neurology at AIIMS Mangalagiri, the earlier vacancy position consisted of no General seat and one Sponsored seat. This has now been revised to one General seat and one Sponsored seat. Similarly, in DM Paediatric Critical Care, the institute earlier had only one Sponsored vacancy. Under the revised matrix, one General seat has been added, taking the available positions to one General and one Sponsored seat.
Candidates seeking Neurology seats have received another option with the addition of one General seat in DM Neurology at AIIMS Bibinagar. Earlier, no vacancy was available in General, Sponsored or Foreign National categories for this course. The revised matrix now reflects one General seat, with no change in the other categories.
Through a separate addendum, AIIMS has announced additional seats in three super-speciality courses at AIIMS Jodhpur. For DM Endocrinology, the earlier matrix showed no General seat and one Sponsored seat. The revised position now includes one General seat in addition to the existing Sponsored seat. In DM Nephrology, the number of General seats has been increased from one to two, while the single Sponsored seat remains unchanged.
Meanwhile, MCh Pediatric Surgery at AIIMS Jodhpur, which earlier had no General seat and one Sponsored seat, will now have one General and one Sponsored seat available for the Open Round. Below is the revised seat position-
