New Delhi : Through a recent notice, the AIIMS has issued reporting instructions for MBBS candidates who have allotted seats at AIIMS Delhi and Jammu branches for this academic year.

This information is only for the candidates who are allotted AIIMS-New Delhi and AIIMS-Jammu as per the result of 2nd Round of MBBS-seat allocation by the Medical Counselling Committee for NEET-UG 2021. The results of the second round of counselling for NEET-UG 2021 have already been announced by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The candidates are advised to read the instructions provided by MCC regarding the process of reporting and taking admission. As per the schedule of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the candidates who are allotted AIIMS-New Delhi and AIIMS-Jammu, are required to report at AIIMS, New Delhi to complete the process of Admission (From 27th February to 5th March, 2022*).

Components of Process and Schedule of activities

Following activities are required to be completed:

Medical Examination

2nd March and 4th March, 2022 Reporting at 9.00 am

The Medical Examination is expected to completed in one day. However, the candidates should be prepared to stay additional day in case further investigations/examination is required.

Payment of Academic Fee

2nd March, 4th and 5th March, 2022

The Academic Fee (Rs 1628/-) is taken after clearance by Chairperson (Medical Board). The Fee can be submitted in Cash or Card.

Verification and Submission of Original Document

The following documents (along with one set of Photocopy) are to be brought by the candidates at the time of reporting

A. Exam and Counselling related

1. Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from MCC

2. NEET/NTA Scorecard – original print not photocopy.

3. NTA Admit card

4. Five (5) Passport size Photographs.

5. Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/ Election Card/Passport or any photo identity proof issued by Government of India.

B. Eligibility and category related

1. Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent Examinations, showing the subject offered by him/her in the Examination

2. Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination, showing his/her date of birth.

3. Certificate/Mark sheet from the Board from which he/she passed the 10+2 or equivalent Examination showing that he/she has secured 60% or more marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

4. Migration Certificate from the University/Board last attended by him/her.

5. Applicable only to candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Tribe/OBC/EWS/OPH Category:

a. SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority. Community should beclearly

b. mentioned in the certificate.

c. OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the central list of OBC. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy layer. OBC certificate must be in the prescribed format. (The OBC certificates issued from 1st April, 2020 (inclusive) and start of reporting of Round-1 of MBBS counselling (as per Medical Counselling Committee for MBBS admission) will be considered valid for admission for NEET (UG) 2021*

d. EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority.

The EWS certificates issued from 1st April, 2020 (inclusive) and start of reporting of Round-1 of MBBS counselling (as per Medical Counselling Committee for MBBS admission) will be considered valid for admission for NEET (UG) 2021*

* As per minutes of meeting held by MCC, DGHS on 23.09.2021

e. Certificate from prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.
