BFUHS Announces Revised Date Of Joining For Mop-Up Round NEET PG Admission, notifies on stray vacancy round
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) announced the revised date of joining the mop-up round of Punjab State under NEET PG 2022. The details related to the stray vacancy round have also been released.
As per the notice, in consonance with the revised state counseling PG schedule that the MCC put up on its website, the last date of joining by the candidates to whom seats will be allotted provisionally in the mop-up round of Punjab State counseling is revised as 29.11.2022 instead of 30.11.2022.
The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (Six-month fee – security deposit) through the university payment gateway through the university website and will join the respective allotted college.
Once the candidates have joined the allotted seat in the mop-up round of counseling, they will not be allowed to surrender the seat as per the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 16.12.2021 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 10487 of 2021 Nihila P.P Vs. Medical Counselling Committee and ors.
Candidates to whom seats will be allotted in the mop-up round but who do not report/join at the college may exit with forfeiture. The security deposit will not be refunded in such cases. The security deposit will be refundable to those with no seat in the mop-up round of counseling.
Stray vacancy round for PG Medical/Dental courses –
Walk-in stray vacancy round for leftover seats (if any) after mop-up a round of counseling will be held on 01.12.2022 at 11.00 am at Senate Hall, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
Eligibility -
1. All registered candidates who were not allotted seats in any previous rounds can participate in the stray vacancy round.
In case of selection, Candidates will transfer the six-month fee on the spot to the university account. Terms and conditions/process for counseling shall be as per Notices and FAQs posted on the website of MCC/University from time to time.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
