The provisionally selected candidates will pay the fee balance (Six-month fee – security deposit) through the university payment gateway through the university website. They will join the respective allotted college up to 05.11.2022, 5.00 PM.
Candidates who have joined the allotted seat in Round 2 and further rounds of counselling will not be allowed to resign and will be ineligible to participate in further rounds of any counselling. There is no option of resignation if the candidate is not upgraded in Round 2. Round-1 joined candidates who neither participate in Round-2 nor resign from the seat of Round-1 will be considered part of Round-2 after the stipulated time.
Candidates to whom seats will be allotted in 2nd round but who do not report/join at the college will have to exit with forfeiture. The security deposit will not be refunded in such a case.
Eligibility –
1. The candidates have to be NEET PG /NEET MDS qualified.
2. The candidates must have completed an MBBS/BDS degree from any recognized medical/dental college/ in India and possess an MBBS/BDS pass certificate.
3. The candidates should obtain a 12-month rotatory internship completion certificate issued on or before March 31, 2022.
4. Candidates must provide the permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)/Dental Council of India (DCI)/ State Dental Council (SDC).
NEET-PG/NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma/MDS courses. No other exam is considered for admission.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi Sufi headquartered in Faridkot. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic, and physical environment conducive to the free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad.
