BFUHS NEET Counselling Stray Vacancy Round, deadline ends today

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has announced the schedule of the stray vacancy round for NEET UG (MBBS, BDS) courses. 

The last date for fresh online registration/application and deposition of application and security deposit for fresh applicants along with the fee of Rs. 5000+18%GST (Rs. 5900/-) and Rs. 2500+18%GST (Rs. 2950/- for SC candidates) through the university payment portal is 26.09.2023 (up to 03:00 PM). Fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness along with a security deposit for the stray vacancy round.

The last date for submitting willingness along with a security deposit by all the candidates (already registered candidates and fresh applicants) is 26.09.2023 (up to 05:00 PM).

The amount of security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under –

1. For Government colleges - Rs. 10000/- (half for SC/BC)

2. For both Govt. & Private Colleges – Rs. 100000/

3. For Private Colleges – Rs. 100000/-

The last date of correction/editing in the online filled application form is 26.09.2023 (up to 03:00 PM). Thereafter application will be locked automatically. Once information is filled and locked, it will not be allowed to change in any round of counselling. NRI quota can submit the form up to 26.09.2023 (up to 05:00 PM). Application form for getting the eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI candidates is separately available on the University website.

Candidates who will submit willingness for stray vacancy round, including NRI candidates, will fill/submit the online choices/ preferences of college/course/quota/category. The choices can be submitted till 26.09.2023. The provisional merit will be displayed up to 27.09.2023.

The allotment result will be displayed up to 29.09.2023. The provisionally selected candidates will pay the balance amount of the fee (A six-month fee after deducting the amount of the security deposit) through the University Payment Gateway available on the University website and will report to the respective college for joining the respective allotted college. The process can be carried out till 30.09.2023.

If the candidates are allotted a seat in the stray round, they have to join the allotted seat/college. If the candidates do not join the allotted seat, they shall be debarred from the NEET examination for 01 Year, along with forfeiture of fees. Upgradation is not allowed.

The following categories of candidates are not eligible for the stray vacancy round –

1. Candidates who have not registered for the stray vacancy round.

2. Candidate joined/holding any seat at the time of stray vacancy round

3. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 and not reported.

All candidates not falling under the above-mentioned categories are eligible.

A total of 402 seats are vacant for this round. Medical has 31 seats, and dental has 371 seats vacant.
