Punjab : Through a recent notice, BFUHS (Baba Farid University of Health Sciences ) has released the Revised Schedule for Mop Up, Stray Vacancy Round Of NEET Counselling 2022

In consonance to the directions of the Punjab & Haryana High Court in CWP No. 24703 dated 2022 & another connected cases, the schedule of MopUp Round & Stray Vacancy Round is revised as under:

REVISED SCHEDULE 

1 Updation of choices/preferences of College/Course/Quota/Category through online portal for MopUp Round counseling for admission to vacant seats in MBBS/BDS Courses, session 2022 16.12.2022 to 17.12.2022 (upto 05:00 PM)
2 Processing of seat allotment 18.12.2022
3 Display of Provisional Result 18.12.2022
4 Date of reporting/joining in the provisionally allotted college. The provisionally selected candidates will have to pay the balance six months fee through online payment gateway after adjusting the security amount. Note: All colleges will remain open on all Gazetted Holidays/Saturday/Sunday 19.12.2022 to 20.12.2022 (upto 05:00 PM)
Walk-In Counseling for Stray Vacancy Round Venue: Senate Hall, BFUHS, Faridkot
5 Display of Vacancy Position 20.12.2022 (Till midnight)
6 Receipt of Online Admission Application Forms. Thereafter online portal will be closed and no application will be accepted. 19.12.2022 to 21.12.2022 (upto 12:00 Noon)
7 Scrutiny of Documents 21.12.2022 (02:00 PM)
8 Start of Counseling 21.12.2022 (03:00 PM)
Note: 1) The already registered candidates need not apply again. However, they must ensure their presence at the counseling venue before 12:00 Noon on 21.12.2022. 2) Six months Tuition Fee will be accepted in the shape of Demand Draft fvg. Registrar, BFUHS, payable at Faridkot. No Cash/Cheque will be accepted during Stray Vacancy Round. 2) The provisionally selected candidates will report to their provisionally allotted colleges upto 21.12.2022

• Whether any penalty will be imposed, if any candidate will not join the allotted seat of MopUp Round?

Yes, if any candidate will not join the allotted seat of MopUp Round, then penalty equivalent to the security/willingness amount will be imposed as per Gazette Notification No. MCI-34(41)/2018- Med./109835 dated 18/05/2018.".

Revised Tentative Vacancy Position of MBBS seats for Online MopUp Round of Counseling 

• Who are eligible for Stray Vacancy Round?

The following candidates are eligible for Stray Vacancy Round:

a) The candidates who will register afresh.

b) The candidates who are already registered but not holding any seat of Round 1 & 2 of AIQ/State Quota.

c) The candidates who have not been allotted seat during MopUp Round of AIQ/State Quota.

• Who are not eligible for Stray Vacancy Round?

The following candidates are not eligible for Stray Vacancy Round:

a) Candidates who joined the allotted seat in Round II of AIQ/ State Quota.

b) Candidates allotted a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC / State.

c) Candidates allotted a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC/State and NOT REPORTED

d) Candidates joined a seat in Mop Up Round of MCC/State.

e) Candidate joined/holding a seat in State Quota.
