BFUHS Releases Schedule For Round 2 NEET PG Counselling 2022, Details
Punjab : Through a recent notice,BFUHS (Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot) has released Schedule for 2nd round of PG Medical/Dental online Punjab State counseling under NEET PG-2022.
Schedule for 2nd round of PG Medical/Dental online Punjab State counseling under NEET PG-2022 is as under : | ||
1 | Display of tentative vacancy position of seats for 2nd round of counselling | 14.10.2022 |
2 | Date for resign/surrender of seat of 1st counseling with free exit. Those candidates who will not be upgraded in 2nd round will be considered as 2nd round joined candidate after 20.10.2022 (3.00PM). He / she will not be allowed to resign / surrender the seat. | 20.10.2022 upto 3.00 PM |
3 | Date for online registration/application and deposition of application and security deposit for fresh applicants along with fee of Rs. 5900 (Rs. 2950 for SC candidates) including GST through university payment portal. (Fresh registered candidates will have to submit willingness along with security deposit for 2nd online counseling. Failing which their candidature will not be considered. | 14.10.2022 to 20.10.2022 |
4 | Last date of correction in online filled application form | 20.10.2022 |
5 | The last date for submitting willingness along with security deposit for 2nd round of counselling by all the candidates (already registered candidates and fresh applicants). 8 | The candidates who will apply under Sikh Minority/Christian Minority Quota will report to the respective minority institution (SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar / Christian Minority College, Ludhiana) for verification of minority status. The candidates who have already got verified their minority status at the time of 1st counseling, need not to verify again. The candidates who have already registered under Minority Quota during 1st counseling and did not get verified their minority status, can also verify the same for 2nd round of counseling. | 21.10.2022 |

Note :
1. Candidate will submit willingness and security deposit as per the rules & regulations of Government of India posted on www.mcc.nic.in. Only those candidates will be considered for 2nd round who will submit willingness by depositing requisite security amount for participation. The candidates to whom seats are allotted in the 1st round of counseling will also submit the willingness to participate in the 2nd round of online counselling, however, the fee deposited by them will be adjusted and they will have to pay the remaining amount of security deposit. Those who have already paid more than Rs. 200,000/- need not to pay security deposit again. The consent/willingness is mandatory to participate in 2nd round.
The amount of Security to be deposited for submitting willingness will be as under :
(i) For Government colleges - Rs. 25,000/- (half for SC/BC)
(ii) For Private Colleges – Rs. 2,00,000/-
2. Once, the candidate has joined the allotted seat in or after 2nd round of counselling then he/she will not be allowed to surrender the seat as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 16.12.2021 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 10487 of 2021 Nihila P.P Vs Medical Counselling Committee and ors.
3. Candidate to whom seat will be allotted in 2nd round but they do not report/join at the college may exit with forfeiture (i.e. The security deposit will not be refunded in such case)
4. Candidates who will not join the allotted seat in Round 2 will be eligible for further rounds of counselling subject to forfeiture of security deposit and will register fresh in only mop-up round. The provisions with regard to security deposit, option of free exit and eligibility for participation will be as per the Gazette Notification No.MCI-34(41)/2018 Med./109835 dated 18/05/2018 and FAQs posted on MCC website.
5. The security deposit will be refundable to those to whom no seat will be allotted in 2nd round of counselling.
