Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has extended the date of the online application process for the Post Doctoral Fellowship Program in Diabetology.

As per the notice, the last date to apply is extended up to 19.09.2023 till 5.00 PM. This decision has been taken based on many representations received from candidates with regard to the extension of the last date of application.

Candidates seeking application for Admission to Post Doctoral Fellowship Programme In Diabetology 2023-24 session can be accessed from the following websites: www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in www.tnmedicalselection.net. They will have to pay a nonrefundable application fee of Rs.2500 through online via Debit card / Credit card/ Net Banking or RTGS.

Service Candidates should upload their Service Proforma forwarded only through the proper channel with the remarks of the forwarding authorities in the format prescribed in the application form. If not, the applications will not be accepted.

Eligibility -

1. The candidate must be a Citizen of India and a native of Tamil Nadu

2. Candidates who are natives of other States are not eligible to apply.

3. Candidates who had studied their undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply and need to produce the Nativity Certificate

4. Candidates who have studied in other States shall produce the Nativity Certificate from Tamil Nadu.

5. The Certificate of Nativity in Tamil Nadu should be issued by the competent authority only and supported by a copy of a Passport / Aadhar Card/ Voter’s ID/ Driving License. If a copy of the supporting document is not produced, then the application form will be rejected. The Nativity Certificate submitted later will be summarily rejected.

6. Candidates who hold M.D. (Gen.Med.)/M.D.(Paed.,)/M.D (Geriatric Medicine) of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University or of any other University recognized as equivalent to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University and included in the schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 or who hold DNB (G.M /Pead / Geriatrics) from the National Board of Examination and who have obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils are alone eligible to apply for Post Doctoral Fellowship Program in Diabetology.
