Puducherry- The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has published the Round 1 / Round 2 admitted list and vacancy positions for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Medical (M.D/M.S) courses on the official website. With this, candidates can now participate in Round 3 without any limitation regarding Round 1 / Round 2 allotment.

According to the official notification in this regard, for Round 3 admission to first-year NEET-PG Medical (M.D/M.S) courses in government and self-financed medical colleges in the Union Territory of Puducherry, candidates can submit their willingness, complete payment of registration fee and fill course preferences under Government, Management (MQ), Management (MQ-Telugu Minority) and Management (MQ-Christian Minority) quotas by 02 February 2025, 5.00 PM. All students registered with CENTAC including candidates allotted during Round 1 / Round 2 (Join / Not Join) are eligible for Round 3 counseling.

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE

To participate in Round 3 counselling, GE/OBC/MBC/EBC/BCM/BT candidates have to pay Rs 1,00,000/- and SC/ST/PwD (including SC/ST admitted in Round 1) candidates have to pay Rs 25,000/- for government quota. Meanwhile, other candidates have to pay Rs 2,00,000/- as a registration fee. It is to be noted only those candidates who pay the Registration Fee will be considered for Round 3.

Candidates are requested to transfer the Registration Fee to the CENTAC account through Net Banking or by generating NEFT / RTGS challan using the payment option available in the dashboard login credentials and proceed for payment.

FORFEITURE OF REGISTRATION FEE

1 The Registration Fee will be returned to all those candidates who are not allotted any seat in round 3.

2 The fee in respect of the candidates who are allotted seats will be retained and will be adjusted with the course fee i.e., round 3 allotted candidates need to pay the balance course fee by adjusting the Registration Fee already paid.

3 The same Registration Fee will be forfeited, if the candidate, who is allotted a seat in round 3, fails to join.

SUBMISSION OF COURSE PREFERENCES

1 All candidates registering for round 3 should submit course preferences afresh for round 2.

2 Sliding will be allowed in Round 3. So, vacancies may arise dynamically at the time of allotment. Accordingly, Course preferences for Management Quota and Government Quota need to be submitted irrespective of the vacancies published.

3 In round 3, once the candidates express their willingness, and if a new seat is allotted based on their round 3 course preferences, then the course in which the candidate was admitted in round 2 will be automatically cancelled.

4 Candidate is solely responsible for filling course preferences. No request for change in course preferences will be entertained, once course preferences are submitted by the candidate.

5 No seat will be allotted if course preference is vacant.

CONVERSION OF UNFILLED SEATS IN ROUND 3

1 In round 3, after filling the Telugu Minority / Christian Minority Management Quota Seats, the remaining unfilled seats will be converted into All India Management Quota and filled in round 3 itself after exhausting the Minority Quota merit list.

2 So, accordingly, Management Quota course preferences are enabled in Round 3.
