DME Assam informs on Round 2 NEET Counselling, details

Assam : Through a recent notice, DME Assam ( Director of Medical Education) has informed about the 2nd Round Online Counselling for Admission into Ist Year MBBS/BDS Courses in the Government Medical & Dental Colleges of Assam, for the Session 2022

This is for information of all concerned that the Government of India has extended the time schedule for 2nd round of All India counselling process. Further, two MBBS seats are added to the seat matrix of 2nd round of online counselling of state quota seats due to surrender of seat by admitted candidates. Hence the online choice filling for Admission into the vacant MBBS/BDS seats in the Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2022 under State quota seats is extended as per schedule given below.

Registered candidates who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET¬UG-2022) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) may participate in the Online counselling provided they fulfill all eligibility criteria mentioned in the Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam, (Regulation of Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses) Rules, 2017 amended upto 2022, as well as meet the cut-off score in NEET-UG-2022.

Candidates who have already registered need not register again. Now, the candidates can modify their choice if they desire, which will be available from 18/11/2022 to 20/11/2022 (11:55 PM), Locking of choice will be available on 20/11/2022 (4 PM to 11:55 PM), after which the choice will be locked automatically if not locked earlier by the candidate.
