Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has invited online applications for MD, MS, DIPLOMA, CPS, and MDS courses. MD, MS, DIPLOMA, and CPS courses are based on NEET PG, and MDS courses are based on NEET MDS scores.

As per the notice, applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to Government Seats, Management Seats and NRI Seats of MD/MS/Diploma/MDS Courses in Government and Self-financed Medical & Dental Colleges and admission in CPS Diploma Courses in Government District hospitals and Self-Financed & Private Hospitals for the academic year 2023-24.

Detailed schedule –

1. Online Pin purchase for online registration (website: www.medadmgujarat.org) – 23.6.2023 9 (10:00 AM) – 30.6.203 (03:00 PM)

2. Online Registration - 23.6.2023 9 (10:00 AM) – 30.6.203 (05:00 PM)

3. Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents at Help Center – 26.6.2023 (10:00 AM) – 1.7.203 (01:00 PM)

For Online Registration, the PIN can be purchased online (website: www.medadmgujarat.org) on payment of Rs. 3000 (Nonrefundable) + Rs.25000 (Refundable Security Deposit) = Total Rs.28000.

For NRI Candidates only: After online application, they have to submit a Demand draft of Rs. 25000 (Non-refundable) in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar as a processing fee at the office of ACPUGMEC & ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only. The document verification and submission will be made only at the Office of ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

Candidates can register online from the website: www.medadmgujarat.org, but to complete the registration process, they must go to the Help Center with their required certificates and registration slip.

DME has further informed that all the activities of admission described here can be performed within the stipulated time limit as declared by Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) and refer to the admission schedule declared by ACPPGMEC from time to time on www.medadmgujarat.org.

The candidates who have qualified for NEET-PG/MDS for the current academic year and are eligible as per admission rules of Gujarat State have to visit the website www.medadmgujarat.org from anywhere on the internet for Online Form Registration.

The process for registration –

1. For online form registration candidate has to click “Medical, Dental, CPS diploma” under “Post Graduate Admission” New window will appear on the computer screen.

2. Click the “Log-in for Post-Graduate Medical Admission” button. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

3. Click on “Purchase PIN” to purchase an online PIN. A new window will appear on the computer screen. Read the instructions carefully before purchasing PIN online from the website.

4. Click “Candidate Registration/Login” to start the registration process. A new window will appear on the computer screen.

5. Click the “Click here for New Registration” button to register as a new candidate. Doing so will display a New Registration window on the computer screen.

6. Enter ‘Serial number of PIN’, ’14-digit PIN’, ‘E-mail Address’, ‘Mobile No.’, ‘Roll No. (NEET Roll No.’) and ‘Captcha Image’ in the appropriate box. Verify the details entered, and if every detail entered is correct, click the “SUBMIT” button. Then, the “Online Registration Form” window will be displayed on the computer screen.

7. The candidate must fill up personal details in the format displayed in the “Online Registration Form”. Candidate’s ‘Serial number of PIN’ will appear as LOGIN/USER ID. After that, the candidate must enter a password using at least 6 (six) and a maximum of 12 (twelve) alphanumeric characters. Re-enter the same password in the space marked as “Confirm Password”. For future login, the candidate has to use the same Login ID, PIN and password only. So, the candidate has to remember the password for subsequent login.

8. The candidates need to verify the entries made, and if every detail is found correct, then choose the “I Agree” option at the bottom of the form if the declaration is acceptable. If the candidate selects the “I Agree” option, he can click the “SUBMIT” button. If any mandatory information is not filled, then registration will not be completed. In such cases, the incomplete fields will be highlighted by ‘*’ with red colour, or a message will be displayed. Provide incomplete information and click the “SUBMIT” button. OTP will be generated and will be sent to your Registered Mobile.

9. Click on “Save Changes”. A new window will appear on the computer screen. “Save Changes”.

10. By doing so, “Registration Details” will be generated. If any corrections are required, click the “EDIT/CONFIRM APPLICATION” button. The “Online Registration Form” will appear with already filled details which the candidate can edit. After editing, the candidate has to verify the details entered, and if every detail is found correct, click the “Confirm Registration Details” button. No changes to registration details will be allowed after this. Now if any change is required will be done at the help centre before verification.

11. Now, After registration, candidates have to upload documents as per registration details as shown in the below screenshots according to category. Upload documents (readable photos) which are. PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG format only by clicking on “Choose file” > select the photo you what to upload > click on the “Upload” button > Your document will be uploaded. You can delete the photo if you want to change the photo>click on the “Delete” button and again do the same procedure to upload the correct photo. Choose and upload all documents one by one as given in “Sr. No.

12. Candidate has to make a prior appointment for the Document Verification and Submission of photocopies of Documents at the Help Center. Candidates can select the Date and Help Center for Document Verification when printing the Registration Slip. The candidate must then submit “Registration Details” and all relevant original documents & self-attested photocopies at the appointed Help Center, compulsorily.

13. The candidate can take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Re-Print Registration Slip”. OR The candidate can take print of the Registration Details after clicking “Registration Details” under the “REGISTRATION DETAILS” button. The candidate can click the “Print Your Details” button for printing the “Registration Details” page.

14. To confirm registration at the Help Center, all candidates must take print of the “Registration Details” (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents (as per the list mentioned at the bottom of the Registration Details) should be attached to the Registration Details. Both candidates, as well as the parent/guardian of the candidate, have to sign the Registration Details at the space provided compulsorily. For candidates of SC/SEBC/ST/EWS/PwD category, the candidates must submit 02 copies of the caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate and school leaving certificate/transfer certificate of each.

15. The officer at the Help Center will verify the Registration Details and self-attested photocopies of relevant documents with originals. The officer will retain the Registration Slip and set of self-attested documents and issue the Registration Slip with signature and seal to the Candidate. All candidates must verify all Original Documents at Help Center and obtain Registration Slip, without which the candidate shall not be eligible for further admission process.

16. Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG) must upload scanned copies of the NBE screening exam marksheet during document upload and verify the original document at the help centre.

17. For in-service candidates: As per the GR no: MCG/1004/650/J, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, dated 10/01/2022, Ten per cent (10%) of Government quota seats in Postgraduate subjects of MD/MS courses in Government Medical Colleges, CPS/DNB courses in Government District Hospitals and DNB courses in GMERS Medical Colleges in (1) Pediatrics, (2) TB & Chest, (3) Obstetrics & Gynecology, (4) Preventive & Community Medicine, (5) Orthopedics, (6) General Surgery, (7) General Medicine, (8) Anesthesiology, (9) Radiology, (10) Pathology subjects, shall be reserved in each category for In-service doctors of Gujarat State.”

18. For NRI category candidate: The candidate applying for NRI Quota, document verification and submission will be done only at the Office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. The instructions for NRI candidates are in detail on the website: www.medadmgujarat.org.

19. For PwD (Persons With Disability) candidates: All candidates applying for the PwD quota must appear for an examination for disability to the Medical Board of ACPUGMEC. Only a Disability Certificate issued from a Medical Board of ACPUGMEC will be considered. No other PwD certificate issued by any other Authorities/Hospital will be entertained.

5. Document showing Date & Place of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)

6. For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only

7. For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha ‘4’ in Gujarati/English)

8. For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by

10. Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign

11. 12th Marksheet (For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat)

12. Domicile certificate of Gujarat state: For candidates who have done MBBS/BDS outside Gujarat (only if birthplace is outside Gujarat)

Preparation and publication of merit list - ACPPGMEC will prepare and declare the merit list of all eligible candidates after the registration process. Candidate needs to verify merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

Online choice filling & allotment of admission –

1. After merit declaration, the choice filling will be initiated online for each round.

2. After the choice-filling period is over, the ACPPGMEC will process for allotment of seats and declare the status of allotment on the website. The candidates can view their allotment status by logging in to their own User ID.

Payment of tuition fees –

The candidate must pay the requisite tuition fees by cash/DD at any of the designated Axis Bank branches or through online payment within the time limit specified by the ACPPGMEC.

Original document submission at help centre –

1. Allotment Letter of ACPPGMEC

2. Tuition Fee Receipt showing the paid one term (6 months) fees at Axis Bank

3. All year attempt-wise MBBS / BDS marksheets

4. Internship completion certificate on or before 11/08/2023

Instructions for NRI category students –

1. PIN can be purchased online from the website: http://medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx by paying Rs. 3000/- (non-refundable) + Rs.25000/- (Refundable Security Deposit) = total Rs.28000/-

2. Candidates themself can do online registration by visiting the website of the admission committee http://medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx.

3. The candidate applying for NRI Quota confirm registration by document verification and submission only at Office of ACPUGMEC/ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

4. Candidate has to make a prior appointment for the Document Verification and Submission of Xerox copies of Documents at the Help Center. Candidates can select the Date for Document Verification when printing the Registration Slip.

5. After online application, they have to submit a Demand draft of Rs. 25,000/- in favour of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar as a processing fee at the Office of ACPUGMEC/ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only.

6. No application for admission will be considered unless accompanied by notarized copies of the certificates and all necessary documents.

7. Any change in any of the documents or the examination marks after application submission should be promptly reported to the Office of ACPUGMEC/ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar, with an attested copy of the same. The candidate will be responsible for consequences if they fail to do so.

8. Admission to NRI quota seats at Medical Colleges will be finalized based on the merit list prescribed under the rules.

9. Candidates joining the admitted College will be awarded the degree from the concerned University to which the college is affiliated.

10. The candidates shall have to produce the original certificates, Notarized colour copies at the time of application submission. All documents mentioned above shall have to be produced at the time of the interview.

11. Residence in the college hostel will be offered to the students. The allotment decided based on merit/requirements will be at the discretion of the Dean / Principal. Admission to the college does not guarantee hostel admission.

12. The hostel fees will be charged at the rate fixed by the respective Management from time to time and paid by the student before the beginning of each term. Any other fee is to be paid by the student, as decided by college authorities at par with all students.

Eligibility criteria for NRI –

1. A candidate shall be a Non-Resident Indian, or Their parents or, in the absence of their parents, their legal guardian shall be Non-Resident India.

2. The candidate must complete the internship on or before 11th August 2023.

3. The candidate should have appeared in the current admission year's NEET-PG examination and been declared “Qualified”.

Merit list –

ACPPGMEC shall give admission to the non-resident Indian seats based on interse merit based on All India Overall Rank at the NEET-PG of the current admission year from among the candidates who have applied for admission against the Non-Resident Indian seats.

The application will be considered only if it is accompanied by copies of the following certificates, duly notarized - 

1. Demand draft of Rs. 25,000/- payable to ACPUGMEC, Gandhinagar

2. Print-out of the Online Application

3. All year attempt-wise MBBS / BDS marksheets

4. Marksheet of NEET-PG of the current admission year

5. School Leaving Certificate

6. Internship completion certificate on or before Dt.11/08/2023

7. Provisional Registration of Gujarat Medical / Dental Council OR Medical / Dental Council of India

8. Caste Certificate in Case of SC/ ST/ SEBC Candidate

9. Non-Creamy layer Certificate for SEBC Candidate, issued on or after Dt.01-04-2021

10. EWS Certificate for EWS Candidate, issued on or after Dt.01-04-2021

11. Color photocopies of following all documents must be notarized

i. Passport (Notarized colour photocopies of all pages including blank Pages) of NRI/NRI Parents

ii. Visa / Resident permit / OCI / PIO card as applicable

iii. Address proof (Indian and foreign)

iv. Undertaking regarding the fees from NRI Student/Parent
