DME Manipur to hold Round 3 State-Level PG Medical Counselling, Releases Tentative Seat Matrix
Manipur- The Director of Medical Education (DME) Manipur is going to conduct the third round of state-level postgraduate counselling for admission to MD/MS/DCP courses in RIMS and JNIMS, Imphal for the academic session 2024 soon. In this regard, DME Manipur has issued a circular informing regarding the available vacant seats for the MD/MS/DCP courses.
As per the circular, the third round of state-level postgraduate counselling for admission to MD/MS/DCP courses in RIMS and JNIMS, Imphal for the academic session 2024 will be held on January 9, 2025, in the JNIMS Auditorium, Porompat, Imphal from 10.00 am onwards. Therefore, all the candidates need to report at 9 am with the original documents and participate in person. With this, the selected candidates need to get themselves admitted on the spot soon after the counselling.
Meanwhile, the tentative vacant seat position has been released, however, the final seat matrix will be available after January 6, 2025, on the official website of the DME Manipur. As per the tentative seat vacancy, a total of 36 seats are vacant in MD/MS/DCP courses. Of these, a total of 6 seats are vacant in the open category and 30 seats are vacant in the in-service sponsored category.

It promotes expertise in medical science in different streams. The Director (Health) functions as Head of the organization for carrying out the functions of the Department, both technical and administrative matters and liaises with other Departments of the Administration and states/Central Govt. organizations.
