Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) announced the tentative revised extension of the round 2 counseling schedule (NRI Quota) for MBBS/BDS admission.

Detailed schedule –

1. Choice Filling & Locking - 9-12-2022 10:00 am to 9-12-2022 1:00 pm

2. Result - 9-12-2022 4:00 pm

3. Downloading the Provisional Allotment Order & Reporting - From 9-12-2022 to 10-12-2022 4:00 pm

General instructions –

1. Extension of NRI round 2, conducted from 01.12.2022 to 03.12.2022 to fill the 14 Not-joined vacant NRI quota seats, stands canceled.

2. General instructions for round 2 as mentioned in the prospectus, will be followed.

3. The candidates who wish to retain the seats allotted and joined in the first and second rounds of NRI counseling need not participate in this revised extension of round 2 NRI counseling.

4. Candidates should be careful during choice filling, and it is advisable to choose preferred colleges.

5. Candidate could edit their choice, but once they lock their choice during the online counseling, it cannot be changed later.

6. The selected candidate has to pay the tuition fee, as fixed by the Fee Committee, for downloading the provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking or RTGS.

7. The selected candidates who already paid the tuition fee in rround 1 and round 2 of online counseling only have to pay the difference (if any) amount.

8. The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time mentioned in the provisional allotment order.

9. If the candidates do not report to the Head of the Institution to which they are allotted on or before the time and date specified, their selection and/or admission will stand canceled without any further notice.

10. The candidates selected for admission should give a self-declaration form when reporting to the concerned College that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts or misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

The candidates should produce their following original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with the scanned copy of the original certificates, for certificate verification

1. Provisional allotment order

2. NEET UG-2022 Admit and Scorecard

3. Std X Mark Sheet

4. Std XI & XII Mark Sheet

5. Transfer Certificate

6. Aadhar Card

7. Eligibility Certificate (Other than Central Board and State Board Candidates)

8. NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal or OCI card

9. Ward Certificate of Relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the candidate attested by Notary Public of the NRI country or Competent Authority, valid Indian Passport of the NRI financial supporter.

10. NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book of the financial supporter.

11. Passport Size Photo (10 Nos.)
