INI CET 2022: PGIMER Announces Date Of Reporting, Submission Of Documents for allotted candidates, details

Chandigarh: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) has issued a notification related to reporting and submission of documents for the candidates who have been allotted seats through INI-CET for admission to the MD/MS course for the July 2022 session.

The candidates allotted seats in 1st round of online seat allocation for admission to the MD/MS course for the July 2022 session can report and submit documents/security deposits till 20th August 2022 up to 4:00 pm including holidays at the Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

A candidate must possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India. They must have completed the required period of 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st July 2022 for applying for admission to the MD/MS course.

Conducted by the AIIMS Delhi, INI CET, known as the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Examination, provides admission into PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgie (MCh) at 12 AIIMS across the country as well as JIPMER(Puducherry), PGIMER(Chandigarh), and NIMHANS(Bengaluru), and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. INI CET is conducted twice a year, one for the January session and another for the July session. INI CET was conducted on November 20, 2020, for the first time.

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh and was conceived in 1960 as a center of excellence. It has educational, medical research, and training facilities for its students, including all specialties, super specialties, and sub-specialties. Apart from the clinical services, PGI also provides training in almost all disciplines of Medicine, including post-graduate and post-doctoral degrees, diplomas, and fellowships.
