INI SS January 2025: DM Surgical Oncology Seat removed from AIIMS Bilaspur
New Delhi- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur has revised the seats in DM Surgical Oncology. This has been recently notified through a corrigendum by AIIMS, New Delhi.
AIIMS, New Delhi has released a corrigendum informing about the revised seats for the Institute of National Importance Super-Speciality Entrance Examination (INI-SS) entrance examination for admission to DM, MCh and MD (Hospital Administration) courses for the January-2025 session.
As per the corrigendum, seats from the General category have been removed from DM Surgical Oncology, AIIMS Bilaspur, whereas there was 1 seat in the said category. Below are the revised seat details-

The entrance test for admission into DM/M.Ch./MD Hospital Administration Courses at Institutes of National Importance (INI) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and all new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER-Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology- Thiruvananthapuram is held twice in a year for January and July session of respective year. The common entrance test is known as the Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS).
In the field of postgraduate and post-doctoral education, the most important function of an Institute of National Importance is to provide opportunities to train teachers for medical colleges in the country in an atmosphere of research and development. Postgraduate and Post-Doctoral students are exposed to newer methods of teaching and given opportunities to actively participate in teaching exercises. The other important objectives of the Institute of National Importance are to bring together in one place, the educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all the important branches of health activity and to attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education.
