KEA Releases Seat Matrix For NEET Admissions; 43451 MBBS Seats up for grabs

Karnataka: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the seat matrix for NEET UG for the academic year 2023-24.

There are a total of 43451 seats for NEET UG. MBBS has 33829 seats, and BDS has 9622 seats.

This year seats have been divided into government medical/dental college, non-minority medical/dental college, minority medical college, private university medical/dental, deemed university medical/dental, special category medical/dental, NHK category medical/dental, HK category medical/dental, medical/dental private colleges other than government seats, and KRLMPCA/AMPCK minority dental college.

The college-wise seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

The options entered by the candidate for the first round will remain the same for the subsequent round of seat allotment. The candidates will not be allowed to enter options again. Entry of options by the candidates will begin only after the seat matrix is notified by the Government.

After the entry of options is completed, based on the options entered by the candidates in the order of merit and by following the Roster System, mock allotment will be carried out as per the procedures explained in this Information Bulletin. This Mock Seat Allotment is only an indicative seat status that the candidate may or may not get in the real allotment. It will help the candidate to revise, update, add, or delete already the entered options. The allotment of seats will be conducted in two rounds, and each round consists of three phases, and each phase consists of a number of iterations.
