Maha CET Cell releases Mop Up 2, institutional level rounds Counselling schedule for PG Medical Admissions, Details
Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has announced the counselling details related to Mop-Up round 2 for PG Medical courses.
The candidates who have been selected in government/government-aided/corporation colleges have to report to the college till 3rd May 2022, 6:00 pm. All selected candidates must submit all original requisite documents and fees in the form of DD/Cheque to the respective allotted institute. If the candidates are not able to submit DD due to Bank Holiday, they may pay the fees by Cheque and replace the same on the next bank working day.
For institutional level round for private unaided/minority medical colleges, submission of application to respective institute in-person/ any person with photocopies of documents can be done till 30th April 2022, 4:00 pm. The merit list, selection list, a waitlist will be published on 30th April 2022 up to 5:00 pm.
Joining period for the selected candidate to the respective college by submitting original documents and deposition requisite fees is 1st May 2022, till 5:00 pm. The admitted candidate list and vacancy list, if any arise, will be published on 1st May 2022 up to 6:00 pm.
The physical joining at the allotted college will happen on 2nd May 2022, till 5:00 pm with original documents and requisite fees for admission. The publication of the total admitted list and vacancy list, if any arises, will be done on 2nd May 2022.
The waitlisted candidates can report on 3rd May 2022, till 3:00 pm for the residual vacancies at respective institutes. Publication of merit list & selection list of reported candidates for the residual vacancy will be done on 3rd May 2022. The selected candidates for the residual vacancy can join the college on 3rd May 2022, till 4:00 pm.
Further, it has been notified that the institutional round is only for private unaided/minority medical colleges and for seats remaining vacant after the revised Mop-Up 1 round. All the admission at the institution level will be done as per the rules of the NEET PG 2021 information brochure. The list of eligible candidates has already been published on the website on 28th April 2022.
The institute will verify and ascertain the candidate's eligibility as per respective Central Council rules before admitting the candidates, even if the name appears in the list of eligible candidates. For the institutional round, eligible and interested candidates should approach the Dean/Principal of the respective colleges within the prescribed time and submit applications for vacant seats in person or any person. Such applications should not be submitted to the State CET Cell in person/email. Such applications submitted in the State CET Cell will not be considered valid for any institutional level admission process.
Maha CET Cell has asked the institution to form a Committee of four members under the Chairmanship of the Dean/Principal to supervise the admission process. Institutes are asked to display on their website and notice board vacancy position, applicants list, merit list, list of selected candidates, waiting list as per schedule.
The Rules of Ear Marking should be followed if 2 PG seats in the State quota in the same subject (One in Reserve and the other in Open Category) are available. The rule of inter-se should be strictly followed if any reserve category seat remains unfilled. Any vacancy arising due to shifting of candidates from private medical college to government/ corporation medical college in Mop-Up round 2 can be filled by the institution. Such vacancy should be immediately informed to the competent authority.
Any candidate is if shifted from private medical college to government/ corporation medical college due to betterment or any reason by order of competent authority, such candidate should be immediately relieved if the candidate desires so without any penalty.
The admission process should be completed before the cut-off date prescribed for each course that is declared by the respective Central Council and competent authority from time to time. All the admissions are subject to the approval of the admissions regulating authority after the cut-off date. The institute should upload the information about the admitted candidate in the college feedback module of the State CET Cell.

Candidates note that if they are not registered with State CET Cell and admitted during the institution-level round, then their admission will not be approved by the admission regulation authority.
