MBBS, BDS Admissions 2024: Maha CET Cell releases Stray vacancy round schedule, check details
Maharashtra- The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (MAHACET) has released the schedule for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) stray vacancy round aimed to fill the remaining seats in MBBS and BDS courses in various government, private and minority institutions of the state for the academic year 2024.
The stray vacancy round begins after the completion of the first, second and third rounds of counselling, and is designed to allot vacant MBBS and BDS seats to eligible candidates.
The announcement was made through a formal notice, outlining the steps and deadlines for eligible candidates participating in the NEET UG stray vacancy round counselling 2024. As per the notice, the Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 would begin immediately after the last date for joining seats from CAP Round 3, which was October 24, 2024, at 5:30 pm. Therefore, eligible candidates can participate in the online process to secure the remaining seats in MBBS and BDS programmes as per the schedule given below-

7 | Physical Joining for Round 2 | November 2, 2024, to November 4, 2024, up to 5:00 PM |
8 | Declaration of Selection List (Round 3) | November 4, 2024, after 8:00 PM |
9 | Physical Joining for Round 3 | November 5, 2024, up to 6:00 PM |
10 | The cut-off date for admissions | November 5, 2024 |
However, the above schedule is subject to change as per the direction of various authorities like MCC / AACCC / Central Government / State Government / Hon'ble Court.
