MBBS Seat Vacant at JIPMER Karaikal- MCC tells next-in-line meritorious Candidates To Report
New Delhi- One MBBS seat is vacant at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Karaikal campus and it needs to be filled by tomorrow. This has been informed through an official notice by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Through the notice, all the candidates have been informed that, as per the verdict of the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, 1 MBBS Seat is vacant in the JIPMER Karaikal campus from Internal—Puducherry UT Domicile Quota under SC Category due to the cancellation of an earlier candidate and needs to be filled by tomorrow i.e. 05th December 2024, which is the last date of admission for the MBBS Course.
Furthermore, the seat will be awarded to a candidate next in line of merit. Hence, the candidates in order of merit are instructed to report to the Dean, JIPMER Karaikal on or before 05 December 2024. However, further information may be sought by candidates from JIPMER authorities.
Meanwhile, as per the merit list, there are a total of 10 candidates from the SC category who have to report to the Dean by tomorrow.
Recently, MCC has declared the final result of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET UG) Special Stray Vacancy Round counselling 2024. As per the Final result, a total of 307 candidates are qualified for the NEET UG Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024. This result is regarding the seat allotment result for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing admissions.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organisation under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate and super-speciality medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges.
