New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the reporting deadline for Round 2 of the NEET SS Counselling for the academic year 2025-26, giving allotted candidates additional time to complete reporting at their respective colleges, institutes or hospitals.

As per the notice issued by the MCC in this regard, candidates can now report for Round 2 up to 6:00 PM today, i.e. August 21, 2026.

The extension has been granted after MCC received a large number of requests from candidates participating in SS Counselling 2025. Therefore, MCC has informed all candidates that the reporting time for Round 2 has been extended till 6:00 PM on August 21, 2026

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 2 should complete the reporting and joining formalities at the allotted college, institute or hospital within the revised deadline.

While extending the deadline, MCC has directed candidates to strictly adhere to the revised reporting timeline.

The notice does not mention any further extension beyond 6 PM on August 21. Candidates who are yet to report should therefore complete the required admission formalities within the stipulated time.
