MCC issues notice for 696 NEET 2025 candidates over pending security deposit refunds

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has asked 696 NEET UG 2025 candidates with pending security deposit refunds to submit a duly notarized affidavit along with updated bank account details, after multiple refund attempts failed due to issues such as closed bank accounts, incorrect account numbers, invalid IFSC codes, and other banking-related discrepancies.
Candidates have been advised to complete the process at the earliest to facilitate the release of their pending refunds.
Candidates are therefore required to provide the necessary details in the form of an affidavit, duly notarized on Court stamp paper, in the format prescribed under Annexure A.
The completed Annexure A, along with the required affidavit, should be emailed to the concerced id, to facilitate the refund process.
Candidates are advised to submit the required documents at the earliest to avoid any further delay in the processing of their refunds.
The candidates must note that Incomplete, incorrect, or improperly submitted documents may result in delays in processing the refund.
"This is to inform the 696 UG 2025 candidates whose security deposit refunds are still pending due to account closure, incorrect bank account details, or other related issues, as listed in the enclosed candidate list, that they are required to submit Annexure A to initiate the refund process. Our financial custodian has informed us that these pending refund cases have been processed multiple times using the bank account details available on record. However, the transactions have repeatedly been returned as unsuccessful by the respective banks. Candidates are therefore required to provide the necessary details in the form of an affidavit, duly notarized on Court stamp paper, in the format prescribed under Annexure A," the notice read.
